Im gonna throw the lefties on OPP a bone here. I believe when you spew that our traditional allies in the world don't like us very much you are probably right. Trump's a bit of a dickhead, crude, rude President and yes, we have hurt the feelings of some allies. You know what else; likability means squat. Under Trump our standing in the world has increased. What? Yep, NATO countries who have screwed us for years on putting in their portion of funds for NATO defense are now putting their share in. Despots now know T***p w*n't bow, he will kick ass. Most importantly leaders around the world know Trump will put America first in any debate, rule, law, or deal. So go ahead world. Dislike us. You always have liberals just were to dumb to see it.

That's because "liberals" possess what is often called "a mixed up sense of priorities," and that's about as close as they come to any positive attributes.

It must suck to be a "liberal."

These numbers tell a different story. The world hasn't always disliked us.

Beyond the numbers, the adoption of American culture by others (movies, blue jeans, rock and roll and rap, etc.) also show that it used to be that others aspired to be like us. Liberals are smart enough to see soft power as a measure of 'standing'.

Your 'bone' is worthless and betrayed by your last sentence.

Exactly what I said. We are not buying their friendship anymore. We are not bowing down to them and telling them, hey, we're just like you, maybe worse. It's not about culture. If it was the immigrants coming into our country would want to assimilate, not wave the damn f**g from the country they ran from.

I remember how, after Obama managed to run a lot of our manufacturing out of the country and create large pockets of unemployment around the country and still plunge us deeper into the trillions in debt than all 43 of his predecessors put together, Obama made an attempt to "counsel" the rest of the developed world on how to extricate their respective national economies from the clutches of the global recession (which we started ), his "advice," for good reason, was politely declined by all.

Now we have a strong, America First president who doesn't need their warm, fuzzy admiration or an invitation to tea -- instead, he has their full attention and gets their respect in matters that count.
