Fifty years ago today, at 10:56 PM EDT, Neil Armstrong set foot on the moon. Just so you know.

Do you really think anyone has missed the immense media coverage of the landing over the last week?

Also, the same weekend Ted Kennedy drove off D**e Bridge at Poucha Pond on Chappaquiddick & left Mary Jo Kopechne to die in his limousine. It scuttled Kennedy's p**********l aspirations but left him interminably in the Senate where, over his tenure, he likely inflicted more damage an this country than he might have done in eight years as president.

We owe almost our entire immigrant situation today to that lying, drunken, slob.

That was not because of their jealousy of a well feasaning economy- that's silly,If anything,if I were going to criticize them,I would criticize their incessant belligerancy about being discriminated and excluded from every little tid-bit ,and marginalizing a great moment in history.
If you had an understanding how a civilrights movement work, you would know why they do that, but of course you don't, you're the quinessential .....

I don't know how you figure, except to say you figure like a` n_ _ _ uh`.How do you determine Kennedy exclusivley had anything to do with the immigration problem ,any more so than any other progressivly liberal politician- and you might learn to excercise a bit more cordialness and empathy regarding his alcoholism, keeping in mind the sacrifices he and his family incurred in service of this country- you damned fiend.A brother in world war 11 ,John and Robert Kennedy.

His brother in WWII for sure was a sacrifice in the service of his country, God rest his soul. The other two were cold-blooded murdered. That's not a 'sacrifice in the service of his country' any more than any other murder is. As far as I know, the motives for those two murders were never empirically determined, but even if they were murdered for their political activities, that does not make them 'heroes' any more than someone hit by a truck crossing the street would be considered so.

As for the immigration 'problem', Edward Kennedy was behind several problematic pieces of legislation, most specifically his 1965 immigration act.

So, yes, Ted Kennedy had plenty to do with our current immigration problem, and the current Democrat resistance to rectifying it.

Should have left that one out on this thread.

The Apollo 11 mission to the moon was a seminal event in human history. At 02:56 GMT on July 20, 1969, nearly 700 million people all over the world were glued to the TVs and holding their breath. The real celebrating began when Neil, Buzz and Michael returned safely and went on their world tour.

Make America Great Again is not a political slogan.
