Last time we hacked Iran they retaliated by shutting off the atms and red lights in NY. We attacked them again with a cyber attack so is this another retaliation.?

Not having inside information or a crystal ball I have no idea. But nothing would surprise me. Any trust in Iran should be placed on hold. If our investigating team places Iran on top of their suspect list I think it is wise at this time. I do think Iran is insane, as well as we all are, so anything is possible. Those who are desperate due to fear, anger or out and out panic concern me the most. Notice I used the word concern as opposed to the word worry.

At my age and health death is the best pain k**ler known to mankind. My concern is for others, not myself. Maybe Badbobby and I will find one another in the here or here after and go fishing together with a case of Jack Daniels. "What, me worry?" (a borrowed line from Mad Magazine of years past)

Come on! CONED is one of the worst public utilities in America. Yesterday was hot, and ripe for a brown out or a black out. I will bet the farm on that the Irainans had absolutly nothing to do with power interuptions.

If they did, they could have picked a better time. Rush hour Friday evening, for instance. As it was, everybody just shrugged.

A friend said a t***sformer exploded and caused a fire. So if you think the Iranians are doing something that direct, well maybe they did! I haven't heard of anything cyber related.

You mean 'a friend was told', right?

That's not what she said.

More reliable than a CNN source!

That implies that she was standing there when the t***sformer blew and the lights subsequently went out. I'm not taking a stance either way, just pointing out that what people believe is not always the way it is, so I'd like to clarify, that's all.

She was in Time Square, I believe and their Hotel was on the edge of the black out. That's what they were immediately told by the repair crews. But no, none were eye witnesses. Has Iran claimed credit for it??

Hell no. They wouldn't either, even if they were capable of such a feat. They're not that stupid! Remember what happened the last time some Middle Eastern outfit decided to attack New York City? That would be just the excuse Trump is looking for to flatten their despotic little asses.

I don't think he would, but who knows.

Oh, he would, and not even a hesitation. He's been on their asses from day one and not letting up. He's smarter than they give him credit for, and that makes him dangerous - to them. He knows their game, for sure.

The current population of the Islamic Republic of Iran is 82,847,692 as of Monday, July 15, 2019.

https://www.worldometers.info/world-population/iran-population/

Many of those are not lovers of the current regime. I didn't take my own poll, but anecdotal evidence indicates that it is at least a sizeable minority of the population. If President Trump should come to blows with the Iranian Mullahs, I imagine most of the Persian people would either applaud or simply shrug and walk on.

What President Trump is working hard at is completing the long list of promises he made to those who elected him. Despite radical opposition in the House of Representatives, he is making good on those promises.
