That is only if you give the shots yourself but that doesn't give you the county cert to keep from getting a ticket so you have to go to the vet and that is where you get screwed. One size shot for all and they do not give a damn.

You are right on that but we have a vet who understands and just watches to make sure that we do it right. Around here no one checks except for rabies shots, which the vet does give. When we goto obedience trials the vet does supervise to make sure the dogs are vacinated. However, our vet is also a top line show breeder so she understands what is going on, and since she has toy dogs, she was always in aggreement with the smaller volume of v*****e for toy dogs.

True, none of them are a guarantee and I still get my dogs v******ted. The only reason they get taken to a vet for them is because a vet has to give them for health certs (for travel) where I am. My old vet would honor shots given by me. NPP has a great point - if you can avoid taking a puppy to a vet for a shot that's great. Not everyone has that option though.

The last time I had the flu was 4 years ago after getting a flu shot. Haven't had one since and haven't had the flu.
Same with the shingles and pneumonia shots. My Drs. are pushing all of the BS and I'm telling them to take mine for me. I just turned 69 and haven't had a cold much anything worse for years. If you don't get it through your diet, take Vitamin C and two low dose aspirin daily and get off your butt and exercise a bit. You'll still die but maybe later. Your life and health is already written in the book. Mike

Doctors are now saying that the aspirins actually does nothing for you at all except make you bleed internally. Quit taking them many years ago and have had no problems.
