There is no equivalence between the two cases. And for the homosexuals it would have been quite simple to find another baker - one that was happy to do business with them. The bakers were singled out for harassment.

I won't be drawn into arguing about any equivalency or not...but, undoubtedly, the black students could have gone to other schools happy to have them. However, they would have had to be exclusively black. Also, businesses serving the public are not that different, if at all, than public schools. They are there to serve the public.

I don't see that as a comparable case.

I view(ed) both as civil rights cases, but wasn't called in for consultation on either.

Except public schools don't have to be efficient to stay in business. The federal government has their nose so far up the public school's rectum that it cost billions administratively to conform with all the regulation. Over-regulation of our entire society and big government will be our death-knell.

I have an idea. We're all gonna kick the bucket sooner or later.

For in that sleep of death what dreams may come,
When we have shuffled off this mortal coil . . .

So, how about we stop this stupid s**t, everybody chill, and when the big VIA CON DIOS comes for each of us, we will find out WTF the score is.

He's making a list
And checking it twice;
He's gonna find out Who's naughty and nice.

Again, no quibbling here but, The Little Rock Nine incident was 60 years ago...a different place and time.

That's why Eisenhower had to do what he did. It was a different place and time. Does it seem like some people are still so ensconced in the past that they still want to fight battles that were settled years ago? And then there are some people who just want to fight everything.

Barracuda: those bakers were exercising their religious beliefs. They did not refuse to sell goods to the gay couple. They refused to bake and decorate a gay-themed cake.
I'm sorry but religious beliefs overcomes, or shall I sat "Trumps" the morals or lack of morals of others. Some are moral, some immoral and some amoral.

Lines must be drawn. If the baker had refused service to a black couple, holy hell would have been the public response. Discrimination is discrimination, even hiding behind religion. It was a f**king cake, fer crissakes.

Being Black is not a lifestyle choice unless you're Michael Jackson. LOL.

What a bunch of hooey. Those bakers were singled out and basically attacked. They were being asked to participate in something that defied their religious beliefs. The gays could have gotten their cake someplace else. Easy, but they had to make a spectacle out of it.

That's what I mean by looking at white and calling it black. They see what they want to see, or what the MSM portrays.

Being black or white, or gay or straight is an unalterable state of being, one that is incapable of being changed or regretted.
