We want opportunities to work, make a good living, have a safe place to raise our children and good, competent public schools to send them to. We want to see our tax dollars at work, eg good roads, good schools, good fire protection, etc.. we want the freedom to peacefully gather, and to have a voice in the political process. We want the freedom to worship without restriction. We want laws that benefit all, or at least most, Americans, and for those laws to be enforced regardless of race, g****r, religion or financial considerations. I guess I should've said I, not we, but I'm speaking for my family and friends as well.

Pretty easy to educate them if they listen for more than ten minutes

So far, I only have grandkids, Mathusala, and they are pretty good. They are being raised right, and hopefully will pass it down. It's scary to think about.
And, as an aside, our oldest, be 13 next month, fell in a canyon near their home Sunday evening, and broke both wrists.
One very badly. Yesterday, my daughter called, and wanted my advice on how to handle his "personal" needs. I had no answer. A 13 year old boy ain't gonna want mama wiping his butt, or washing his "business" I do know that.
They went to the Ortho today, and no surgery required, he has a hard cast on his right arm almost to his armpit, and a removable splint on his left, so, problem solved! Whew!
Sorry, just had to throw that in there. People keep getting up in arms about stupid stuff while us Americans are dealing with real problems out here!

Thanks Deb! I just talked to my daughter, and the prognosis is good. The ER doctor did an amazing job of aligning, setting, and stabilizing it. It just needs time to heal. The left arm is hairline fractures that should heal quickly without issue. Thank God!!

Wow Arch. Glad to know heโs gonna be fine. Your blood. Your Texas toughness. Kids will be kids.
Most kid accidents nowadays are probably because they walk into something while texting.
