GEO Group, which runs the 1,575-bed Northwest Detention Center, in an email to The Associated Press said baseless accusations about how detainees are treated at its facilities "have led to misplaced aggression and a dangerous environment for our employees, whose safety is our top priority. Violence of any kind against our employees and property will not be tolerated. We are thankful for the quick and brave action by the Tacoma Police Department, which prevented innocent lives from being endangered." GEO Group said the detention center in Tacoma has modern amenities with air conditioning, recreational activities, a bed for every individual and medical care available at all hours. Last year, a federal judge ruled that Washington state could pursue its lawsuit seeking to force GEO Group to pay minimum wage for work done by detainees at the detention center. The planned raids come me at a time of intense scrutiny surrounding ICE and the treatment of migrants at detention centers. The administration's child separation policy was the subject of a contentious Congressional hearing Friday, during which former ICE director Tom Homan vehemently defended law enforcement amid criticism from Democratic politicians. "As a 34-year veteran of law enforcement, it is shocking, shocking to see constant attacks against those that leave the safety and security of their homes every day, put on a Kevlar vest and put a gun on their hip and risk their own safety to defend this nation," he said, at times appearing to get choked up as he defended his former colleagues.”

These lawmakers who have run afoul need to be collected and brought into a room and our nation's laws explained to them again. There is no excuse for dereliction of Duty. What happens to the Corporal or the Airman basic when they have a dereliction of Duty? Answer they are penalized an Article 15 can be brought in in more serious offenses. Nancy Pelosi and Maxine Waters are so used to breaking our laws they don't even think they exist anymore. These people need to be scolded penalized and shamed in front of the whole country. Monetary penalties. Censored in front of Congress. Possible jail time or removed from service. And when it comes to occasional cortex she needs to be reminded she is restrained by the laws of this land. I'm under the impression she thinks she's Castro. It's way past time for the extremists, from both wings, to be shut down and silenced. Fomenting h**e, violence, or division is not protected by the Constitution, as it is certainly not an exercise of free speech.

For the most part, I agree with you. I’m just not seeing anything in the news about alt-right groups shooting at buildings/people and throwing explosives at propane tanks. I’m all eyes/ears if you want to post a link, I’ll condemn those actions as well.

Something that isn't publicized in the MSM much is the rise in violence of animal rights extremists which is comprised of the alt left. They k**l animals and try to destroy people's livelihoods in their efforts to 'liberate' animals from humans.

I suppose a flip side to that could be the ant-a******n extremists of years ago blowing up, or attempting to blow up clinics and harangue doctors, nurses, and visitors. (Just trying to be fair)

Yes that is wrong too however...one can't equate animal life with human life. Animal rights - not to be confused with animal welfare - is more mental illness masquerading as philosophy. I forget who coined that or I'd give them credit.

Protesting a******n clinics is not wrong but any violence associated with it is. And it ends up backfiring.

The problem with reporters is they equalize the opposing groups. For instance Patriot Prayer and the P***d B**s are two groups they call alt-right. I’ve read their platforms and they just seem like patriotic Americans to me. All about free speech. Every time they hold a rally A****A shows up looking like ninjas. They start beating drums blowing horns and cursing anyone not with them. It usually gets physical mostly because of A****A. Funny part; A****A generally protests the police and as soon as they start getting their ass whipped they yell for........ yep you got it; the police.
