Country music legend Charlie Daniels was one of many to voice their displeasure with the State Fair’s decision to ax the rock group, writing in a tweet on July 5, “This political correctness thing is totally out of control.”

“When a fair cancels the Confederate Railroad band because of their name its giving in to facism [sic], plain and simple and our freedom disappears piece by piece. S**k of it,” read the tweet.

The confederacy is a defeated enemy of our nation responsible for the greatest loss of life of any conflict in our country’s history. If some hillbilly band called themselves Hitlers Hodown, Tojos Trubidors, or The Taliban Tabernacle they also would be shown the door, for good reason.

You may want to think that a name like the "Confederate Railroad" is a different band than Recapture The N***as Who Escaped On The Underground Railroad And Bring Them Back To S***ery Or K**l Them, but it isn't.

This has nothing to do with this mind and soul numbing idea it is about political correctness to object to such a shameful and h**eful moniker, it is about decency and humanity, of which that band and Charlie Daniels gave no regard.

As d********g as these bands' names are we live in Free Speech country....And as long as these bands are not hurting anyone physically they should be able to stay and play their music!!!
