Larry the Legend Loc: Not hiding in Milton

Democratic socialist Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) claimed without evidence that a flood in Washington, D.C., was the result of "the climate crisis", tweeting "Unprecedented flooding is quickly becoming a new normal." She then injected politics into her argument: "Despite that, Republicans are tripling down on f****l f**ls w/no plan to t***sition off them, or make the critical infra investments we need to prep for the climate crisis".

Ryan Maue, who has a Ph.D. in meteorology, took her to the woodshed: "First a tornado and now a flash flood. The Congresswoman does not miss an opportunity to turn a weather event she experiences into a political statement and blame Republicans. She's right that cities need to invest in infrastructure but a slow-moving t-storm isn't 'climate.'"

"Where do you start the conversation with this premise?"

He then gave her some very good advice: "You should resist the emotional temptation to blame EVERY weather event on c*****e c****e".

how much longer is the media going to keep up this embarrassing circus around this silly girl?

Democratic socialist Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez... (show quote)

I wish the media would just ignore her and move on.

Perhaps you need to use different sources of information:

https://www.theguardian.com/us-news/2019/mar/31/alexandria-ocasio-cortez-aoc-republicans-trump

https://www.axios.com/alexandria-ocasio-cortez-aoc-fox-news-2020-democrats-3c7a8bc8-2e57-4503-9167-cddba9859f00.html

It's conservatives who are obsessed with her.

Yeah, the 'obsessed Conservatives' who let he dominate their media cycle on a 24 hour basis. The Conservative dominated media. Right, thanks for clearing that up.

Happy to help...

Even here on OPP, conservatives talk about her more than any current leader of the Democrats, that includes Pelosi and any of the candidates for President.

It wouldn't make sense for Pelosi or any of the candidates to talk about her. All are too self centered to give her any consideration. Lol

That's because she puts her foot in her mouth every time she opens it.

I thought I meant that OPP conservatives talk about her more than other Dem. leaders.

It's like having 'that guy' at work who can't get a thing right but people keep him around for the entertainment value. You just don't know what's going to come out next and that keeps people watching for the next 'installment'..

AOC stated that the ring around her old bathtub at home was caused by her bathwater that had gotten cold due to c*****e c****e and she hadn't bathed in at least 6 months since she wanted to preserve that bathwater for her drinking water to save precious green resources. She is drafting a bill to "force" all Americans to do the same!

It's a good thing we still have a half-sane Senate to block their lunacy then, isn't it?
