I have had houses for sale that had squatters if they are there 3 days in cally you have to evict them because they have rights! There goes your sale! Then there were the s**mmers during the hud home era that acted as landlords and rented these houses to people illegally!

It's crazy town in the legal system. Bad is good, good is bad. All I know is it's not what was intended and existed for most of our time as a nation and it sure isn't justice. It's a perversion of justice. I was robbed by a judge who knows the law but refused to enforce it. How can someone use what is mine without my permission and refuse to return it and that not be theft? Que the twilight music, we are not in Kansas anymore.

It's always been the land of immigrants. The whole world is inhabited by people who originally came out of Africa. Even Native Americans. That doesn't mean we should open the door to everyone who wants in because we lose our sovereignty as a nation which is more important than any l*****t utopian dream.

Although I do not agree with the Out of Africa Theory (due to recent discoveries in DNA; early (basal) Eurasian people all carried just two mitochondrial haplogroups HgM and HgN, both are considered non-African) I agree with you on the important aspect, we are a sovereign nation with laws and are not obligated to take everyone in!

I know several people here in California who have had the misfortune of 'renting' their property to professional s**mmers who know all the tricks of how to remain on the property, without paying any rent and then move to legally take the property from its rightful owner through the court system.
And I also know of several situations where it got to be so unbearable for the owner that they themselves fled and ended up selling the property at substantial losses.
Like the other poster here on OPP said a few posts back, the movie Pacific Heights, filmed in San Francisco tells the story accurately.
It's pathetic but it's reality!

Nor do the neighbors. We have squatters on the place to the north of us who have been nothing but trouble. Assorted meth heads that move in and out, as they get out of jail. Now, as far as I know it's down to one guy, and him, and I have come to terms, so he stays off my place now. I've caught him, and sent him to jail twice for stealing stuff here.
The Sheriff's dept. can't kick them off of the place, only arrest them if they see a crime.
The owners have passed, and the only living family member is in Alabama, and has no interest in the property, so, it's a campground for wayward tweakers.

But, on the bright side, the current resident is permanently trespassed from my property, and he's terrified of my dog.
A while back, I was outside when that fool came walking up my driveway all friendly, and wanting to talk. That dog.....I never knew he had the muscles in his face to expose every tooth he owns, and where that deep, from his bowels roar he let out came from, I have no clue! But he did it! The guy didn't want to visit after that, and I was glad.
And my dog got an extra treat that day!
I'm talking about the wise looking gentleman in my avitar, of course.

And for whoever posted about not letting people get mail at your house, that's exactly right! We have a friend who went through that with his own son after letting him move back in.

I know that is a theory that needs more research to be generally accepted. It may or may not be correct. However, I haven't kept up with the latest developments in paleoanthropology and evolutionary biology so I bow to your expertise as you apparently know more about it that I do. I was under the impression that there was a mass extinction of the Eurasian population that led to repopulation from Africa and Australasia. But where the first Homo Sapiens appeared is still a mystery.
