Definition of socialism. 1 : any of various economic and political theories advocating collective or governmental ownership and administration of the means of production and distribution of goods. 2a : a system of society or group living in which there is no private property.
What you do not understand, is that in a socialist country, people lose the right to disagree with the government. That quickly means the violators are quickly cast to extreme poverty. You, Woodguru, demonstrate exactly what that means in your statement above. The democrats say they love and respect all the people you list and fail to provide an environment that enables them to rise up.
Current President has done more in 2 years to enable your list of people to begin to thrive and experience the benefit of an economic system that once again opens the door to freedom and the right to pursue self sufficiency.
You also fail to realize that by saying you agree with the socialist leaders, only gets you subsistence and nothing more.
I suggest that you make an effort to see both sides of the tree. Nothing is for free and in a socialist society, everyone pays a price to give up speech, pursuit of happiness, worship of choice and so on.
Woodguru and all that think like you, should be a little more skeptical of the socialist run news reporting. And the scripted talking points of democrats that are distributed every morning at 4:30 a.m.

The French cannot help but to h**e us. We won two world wars for them, built their country back from destruction, and supported them for 70 years.
