Oh give it a rest,Rumi!!!!!!!!...This is not the same and you know it!!!!..Most of them are not fleeing from violence, they are coming here for better jobs...Its NOT the same thing!!!

Of course many are coming here for better jobs, can you blame them? But at least just as many are fleeing literally for their lives. If you are not familiar with conditions in Central America, it would be humane to look it up.

If they are fleeing for their lives, the rule is to seek an asylum at the first country...which is Mexico...If they truly are running for their lives...they need to stop in Mexico!!..But lets be real..You know why they want to come here..Your fellow Dems just announced if they come here they will get everything FREE!!!..Its an invitation!!!..If i was them of course i would come here too no matter what it cost me!!!

The sad t***h is, pr, all Americans, in our just and prosperous country, should get free medical. That should be the goal of our politics.

I thought you libs are always screaming about the rule of law. It says you seek asylum in the first one you come to and not the one with the most freebies for your v**e. Of course, we have seen the libs only want rule of law when it suits their purpose.

US and International Law are meant to recognize asylum-seekers. Processing them, instead of caging them, is what these laws demand. Improving that system and sending more judges to handle the situation is the answer. Not Zero-tolerance!

They are also required to stop in the first country to offer asylum. Mexico offered many of them asylum and they turned it down.

UNHCR notes that the causes of secondary movements are manifold and include, among other things, a lack of durable solutions, limited capacity to host refugees and a failure to provide effective protection in some third countries. Therefore, the assessment of whether a third country does constitute a first country of asylum requires a careful and individualised case-by-case examination.

First Asylum Country Law and Legal Definition. First asylum country refers to the country that permits refugees to enter its territory for purposes of providing asylum temporarily, pending eventual repatriation or resettlement. It can be provided locally or in a third country. If they do not allow refugees to enter its territory "for purposes of providing asylum temporarily," or cannot properly maintain the safety, health, and well-being of the refugee, the country that can and will is the determining factor.

Are those a different topic? To voice one complaint about something being unjust means I must address all instances of injustice? I have a leak in the plumbing: must I tell the plumber about my electrical problem so as not to seem prejudicial?

We can't stick to a single topic of discussion and discuss it civilly without baseless charges of hypocrisy for not commenting on all wrongs in society? Give it a break. If you do not want to comment on the subject as presented, just ignore it or say no comment. The misdirection to preserve the President's policies is repulsive.

Show some evidence in a thread you created, or I will, about "rampant homelessness and abundance of garbage in the streets in democrat controlled cities like LA and San Francisco." And I have made my position abundantly clear in threads and responses how I feel about a******n; so do not use that nonsense to attack me.
Are those a different topic? To voice one complain... (show quote)

The point is you don’t create those other threads with much bigger problems because all you want to do is take shots at Trump. Reminds me of the right wing during the Obama years.

Then why do my prescriptions cost hundreds of dollars? And procedures in the thousands?

Lol. Trump provides, by word and deed, fish in a barrel. I take "shots" at Trump because I like shooting at such a massive degenerate where I cannot miss. And it is a righteous mark. Like a safari his sons enjoy, k*****g wild beast for a game. No sport, no decency. It is very hard to get more perverse than that. I am perverse in my attacks--to you!
