Great posts and links! Thanks!
And your last sentence says it all - everyone I know and even strangers at the grocery store are talking about what a great tribute to our military, and also to America, Trump's speech was. As a mother of an active duty soldier, I had such a feeling of p***e that our President took the time to honor, one by one, each branch of the military!

And that's what pisses them off more than anything, the fact that you love your country and take p***e in it. They
h**e that with a burning passion, and putting that on display is anathema to their worldview. I watched that parade and could swear there were heads exploding all across the 'left coast'.

Those h**ers on the left don't realize the actual attention they're getting.
More and more Democrats are moving away from the worn out absurdities of the radical progressives.

What kind of Person does not love their country? There has to be total amiss with
anybody that h**es continually every thing they hear, or see, that they want to destroy it. I clearly remember June 14, 1960 when I sailed under the Golden Gate Bridge, the tears that came into my eyes to once again be back in the Nation I truly loved, the USA. For 2 long years I had been in another land far away from home far away from that which was native to me. Last evening watching the program in Washington DC once again P***e Swelled into my heart and tears filled my eyes, It was like sailing home again into America in 1960. God Bless ALL that love our Nation and may P***e return to love that which we once were and we are being REBORN AGAIN.

Ryan Saavedra is exactly right. The mask is off! The left in this country H**ES President Trump, the millions of Americans that v**ed for him and support his policies, the F**g, the Anthem, the Constitution and Bill of Rights, and most of all h**es individual liberty and freedom of speech. They are not un-American, they are anti-American. And they are so poisoned by h**e they can't hide anymore.

President Trump's speech made me especially proud of those Revolutionary and 1812 soldiers who were able to occupy British airports.

can you imagine how Thomas Jefferson, John Adams and James Monroe felt when Virginia the state of Jefferson the writer who wrote it all, was disowned by his own state, All these men loved what they helped to create, this Nation whose founding is being questioned by a bunch of T*****rs who have never worn these MEN'S SHOES and never will.

British airports? In 1776 and 1812? I don't remember him saying anything like that and to be honest, that would be impossible even if he did say something along those lines. There were no airports in either of those conflicts. The first airplane didn't take flight until 1903 and even then it was a rather haphazard affair.

Yep! He said it. You were hoping so much that he was going to do exactly what the media and dems and never trumpers swore he would do - make the celebration about him and his accomplishments. You expected you could crow about how right you were that the President doesn't give a squat about this great country, just about his massive ego. And you were...(everybody) W R O N G
But it takes a particularly narcissistic kind of progressive to then try to present the argument that we should ignore 99% of the awesomeness of the Presidents tribute to the greatest country in the world that honored the military, gold star families, and exceptional Americans of all walks and seize upon a 5 second slip.
Let's put this into sharp focus. 73 years old, 91 degrees, so humid it was raining off and on, wearing a suit including body armor, speaking for over an hour, in a high stress environment and you pick out a sentence that brings you mirth.
What an insignificant point to make of such an epic event from such a small mind.

Without it they'd have nothing. Yep, I did the old head-slap when I found out. Funny thing, I watched his speech and don't remember him ever saying that.

Me neither, LTL. I had to watch it as well. I've done some public speaking and in front of a hundred people it's literally unnerving - forget about the huge throng, the bullet proof glass, the hordes of secret service, and the likelihood that there were a number of people there that if they'd had the opportunity, would assault the President. How could he slip up like that?
