trump should either fire his speech writers, or simply stick to his teleprompter, since every single time he goes off script, his makes himself appear as stupid as he really is.
Perhaps he should have actually read a history book or two.
And trumps supporters and rightwingnut media and fox constantly try to revise history to make their lies believable.
Btw, there were NO airports during the revolution for the army to take over, and Ft McHenry and "the rockets red glare" was a line from a battle in the war of 1812.

I wouldn't know, I didn't feel the need to subject myself to what I expected to be just another campaign rally. I was pleasantly surprised when I heard afterward that he resisted the urge to make it nothing more than another campaign rally.
As for what the media focussed on... You don't find it noteworthy or even news worthy that the man we entrusted, by we I mean you trump supporters, I never trusted him once I realized he was as stupid as he sounded on the campaign trail, is so stupid as to think there were airports BEFORE planes were ever invented even. Perhaps if he would pick up a book every once in a while, he wouldn't be so stupid and uninformed as he actually is. His stupidity makes us ALL look like morons to people around the world.
