Sing, after listening to the first minute of the above video...you may drink your beer.

But, don't hold your breath waiting for internlarry's proof of Obama mispronouncing Marine Corps.

However, his bungling of 'corpsman' was embarrassing enough.

I am agreeing with Radiance3 that everyone makes errors.

An extraordinary claim that Trump really meant that airports existed during the Revolutionary War or that Obama was truly uncertain of the number of states in the union reveals more about the person reporting the incident than the state of knowledge of the speaker.

I believe both are instances of a person who has simply misspoken.

Interpretation can reveal as much about the interpreter as the interpreted subject.

We all say things we don't mean or have a slip of the tongue. When the Korean Airliner crashed in the SF Bay Area a few years ago the local FOX TV news station in Oakland reported this, "We now know the names of the pilot and co-pilot of the Korean airliner that crashed. They are 'Wi Tu Lo' and 'Sum Ding Wong.'" They said this with a straight face, so you know some copy-editor or intern got fired for this.

Or,

Our local CBS news in San Diego reporting on the huge (or Yuge?) Lottery Jackpot up for grabs recently
where the anchor ad-libed, "you can't Play if you Don't Win."

Here is a link to the Tucker Carlson interview..... in context he was talking about the serious "filth" problems in San Francisco, Los Angles and New York. What can be done about the homeless and how to clean up the problem. He went on to say that the police walking the beat in these places are getting sick due to the unsanitary conditions. He also touched on 'sanctuary cities' in relation to the deterioration of general sanitation. Incidentally, this was an interesting interview. Part 2 of this interview is scheduled for tonight (5 July 2019).

Here’s Comrade de Blasio---

N.Y. Mayor’s C*******t Roots Shine in Fla. P**********l Campaign Rally—JW Exposed Sandinista Ties in 2013
Judicial WatchJULY 01, 2019
New York Mayor Bill de Blasio’s red past showed its ugly head recently in Miami where the Democratic p**********l candidate offended the masses by glamorizing a Marxist revolutionary who executed thousands to impose c*******m and begged his Soviet compadres to nuke the U.S. At a union rally for striking airport workers, de Blasio proudly quoted Ernesto Che Guevara, a terrorist murderer who helped Cuban dictator Fidel Castro execute thousands of men, women and children in front of firing squads. He happens to be one of the most despised historical figures in south Florida.

True to his c*******t roots, de Blasio pumped up the striking Miami airport workers a few days ago with an infamous Guevara quote: “Hasta la victoria siempre!” (Until victory, always). Miami’s mainstream newspaper dismissed it as a “gaffe” that required an apology. The Democratic p**********l candidate was only trying to endear himself to Miami’s Hispanic diaspora, according to the article, which defended the big-city mayor for intending to say something akin to the United Farm Workers’ motto, “Si se puede.” (Yes, we can). “An apparently unwitting de Blasio uttered a revolutionary rallying cry deeply associated with Fidel Castro’s C*******t revolution and a man viewed by hundreds of thousands of Cuban exiles as a sociopath and mass murderer,” the article states.

Ironically, as Cuba’s Minister of Industries in the 1960s Guevara said this: “By no means can Cuban workers go on strike! Cuban workers must adjust to life in a collectivist-socialists order!” He also referred to the United States as the “great enemy of mankind.” Guevara actually begged the Soviet Union to nuke the U.S., specifically New York, Washington D.C. or Los Angeles. He famously said; “against those hyenas there is no option but extermination…If the missiles had remained in Cuba, we would have fired them against the heart of the U.S. including New York City!” This is why even fellow Democrats were enraged by de Blasio’s Guevara quote and took to social media to blast the p**********l candidate. Florida state Senator Jose Javier Rodriguez wrote that quoting a murderer responsible for death and oppression in c*******t Cuba and throughout Latin America is not acceptable. His Democrat colleague in the state senate, Annette Taddeo, posted that she was utterly disgusted. “How can anyone wanting to be the leader of the free world quote a murderous guerrilla -in Miami no less! A community filled with his victims!”

Back in 2013 Judicial Watch uncovered documents showing that de Blasio was an active supporter of a brutal c*******t regime well known as one of the worst human rights abusers in Latin America, the Sandinistas in Nicaragua. He was so enamored with Soviet-backed revolutionaries that he traveled to the capital city of the war-torn country, Managua, to aid their cause by participating in a relief mission. Upon de Blasio’s return to the United States, he joined the Nicaragua Solidarity Network of Greater New York (NSN). Judicial Watch examined the records of the NSN at the Tamiment Library & Robert F. Wagner Labor Archives, located on the campus of New York University (NYU) in the Greenwich Village section of New York City. The archive is also the NYU “Reference Center for Marxist Studies.” According to the archive record guide: “The Nicaragua Solidarity Network of Greater New York (1985-2002), and its member organizations worked to support the Sandinista Revolution and to protest U.S. support of the counter-revolutionary military movement, aka the Contras, who also k**led civilian supporters of the revolution, targeting medical and educational personnel in particular.”

The records show de Blasio was an ardent supporter of the c*******t revolutionaries in Nicaragua, raised funds for the Sandinistas and was a subscriber to the party’s newspaper, “Barricada” (The Barricade). He traveled to Nicaragua in 1988 and became active in the NSN upon his return to the U.S. New York’s mayor has been unapologetic about his involvement with a foreign Marxist political movement accused of slaughtering innocent civilians and practicing the “disappearance” technique of eliminating political foes. In fact, the Sandinistas were renowned as one of Latin America’s worst human rights violators. During three years of revolution they carried out thousands of political executions and the disappearance of thousands more who were considered anti-revolutionary, according to a Russian-born scholar cited in a news article. By 1983 there were about 20,000 political prisoners held in the Marxist regime’s jails, the highest number of political prisoners of any nation in the hemisphere with the exception of Castro’s c*******t Cuba.

Incredibly, de Blasio’s c*******t ties have not hurt his political career. In 1996 he ran the Clinton-Gore campaign in New York State. Then he served as the senior Housing and Urban Development (HUD) official for the New York/New Jersey region from 1997 to 1999. During that period, HUD was defrauded of more than $70 million in de Blasio’s region. That didn’t stop the Clintons from tapping him to run Hillary Clinton’s successful 2000 U.S. Senate campaign. De Blasio subsequently served on the New York City Council and as Public Advocate, the city’s second-highest elected official, before being elected mayor. Now he wants to be president of the United States.

Those who take the time to learn about these i***ts know all about them. Those on the left don't care. Low-information v**ers also don't care because they get their news from the late-night comedians.

I don't think that pig has a snow ball's chance in Hell, of getting the Demon's nomination.

Yup. I can't understand how he became Mayor. However, it is NY and they also elected AOC and Hillary.

Let me make a correction in your statement, Pete. It should read: "Taken 'OUT OF' the context in which they were said." I have listened to the entire interview with Tucker Carlson and if you leave everything in the context of a conversation, which it was, then it makes perfect sense. This was not presented in a writing or an article, but in an impromptu and flexible discussion. President Trump is given to using parenthetic expressions and off-the-cuff statements which much of the time don't t***slate into precise, grammatically correct sentences. This seems to be a mechanism used by some posters on OPP as well as CNN and other media to nitpick rather than to examine what is actually being said. Heaven forbid you should parse what AOC and other liberals are saying on a daily basis. When you run out of sensible material, you resort to this kind of two-bit criticism.
