I have listened to the entire interview with Tucker Carlson and if you leave everything in the context of a conversation, which it was, then it makes perfect sense. This was not presented in a writing or an article, but in an impromptu and flexible discussion. President Trump is given to using parenthetic expressions and off-the-cuff statements which much of the time don't t***slate into precise, grammatically correct sentences. This seems to be a mechanism used by some posters on OPP as well as CNN and other media to nitpick rather than to examine what is actually being said. Heaven forbid you should parse what AOC and other liberals are saying on a daily basis. When you run out of sensible material, you resort to this kind of two-bit criticism.
