Wow.. that's actually the first time I've heard a "wive's tale" or superstition about the whistle...Yea.. my g'ma had a Lot of those... don't open an umbrella in the house.. don't toss a hat on to the bed..if your right hand itches your gonna shake hands with a stranger..if your left hand itches your gonna get money... all that.. lol.. I guess the logic in that is right handed people shake with their right and take money with their left..
