The US Army in partner with NATO are not canceling a July military drill in Ukraine despite the present tension inside the nation. Planning for Rapid Trident 2014, a huge USAREUR managed multinational exercise, is still going to take place, according to a US Air Force spokesman.
This march towards encompassing Russia's western border, the Asian Pivot to encircle China and the already encirclement of Iran by the US is inviting nuclear war and must be stopped.
Every Military and higher up politician should be mandated to read and inform themselves of the fact that a nuclear strike whether pre emptive or retaliatory would mean the destruction of all human and most animal life on this planet.

US-Russian nuclear war, temperatures in the central US and Eurasia would fall below freezing every day for one to three years; the intense cold would completely eliminate growing seasons for a decade or longer. Yet top political leaders and policymakers of both the US and Russia seem to be unaware that their launch-ready nuclear weapons represent a self-destruct mechanism for the human race. For example, in 2010, I was able to publicly question the chief negotiators of the New START treaty, Russian Ambassador Anatoly Antonov and (then) US Assistant Secretary of State, Rose Gottemoeller, during their joint briefing at the UN (during the Non-Proliferation Treaty Review Conference). I asked them if they were familiar with the recent peer-reviewed studies that predicted the detonation of less than 1% of the explosive power contained in the operational and deployed U.S. and Russian nuclear forces would cause catastrophic changes in the global climate, and that a nuclear war fought with their strategic nuclear weapons would k**l most people on Earth. They both answered no.
More recently, on April 20, 2014, I asked the same question and received the same answer from the US officials sent to brief representatives of the NGOS at the Non-Proliferation Treaty Preparatory Committee meeting at the UN. None of the US officials at the briefing were aware of the studies. Those present included top officials of the National Security Council.
It is frightening that President Obama and his administration appear unaware that the worlds leading scientists have for years predicted that a nuclear war fought with the US and/or Russian strategic nuclear arsenal means the end of human history. Do they not know of the existential threat these arsenals pose to the human race . . . or do they choose to remain silent because this fact doesnt fit into their official narratives? We hear only about terrorist threats that could destroy a city with an atomic bomb, while the threat of human extinction from nuclear war is never mentioned even when the US and Russia are each running huge nuclear war games in pr********n for a US-Russian war.

We have nothing to worry about, Rush Limbaugh told us that man is not capable of changing the climate, anything else you hear from the liberal main stream media is just a load of crap. We have the best nuclear weapons in the world and it is about time that president Ohbummer sticks his size 12 boot squair in Putins ass! ...I can spot a "busy-body" a hundred miles away, that's traveled too much and thinks too little. How many conflicts does America need to "nose" into...you want to write the check, than state that in your taxes. I am tired of hearing about "our" involvement. If we want Russia to behave: "guns and boots" diplomacy is as old fashioned as Unions have become.
You do not think too hard about these issues, you repeat the same tactics that don't work anymore. How 'bout the Ukraine shut down ports and oil fields instead. They are doing a pretty good job of handling events themselves. Poking this "bear" is a waste of US sources and will only result in other conflicts getting out of control.

Did you know that nothing is truly organic All of earth is contaminated by the use of nuclear weapons years and years ago. Right now our west coast is getting creamed by Japan's disaster a few years ago. So yeah go ahead US OR RUSSIA. Start a nuclear war. Sure as we are here today we will ALL BE GONE tomorrow.

I don't know that what you post is fact or not but it would not surprise me. But, we do need to try to avoid use of nuclear anything. I don't care about burning coal or other f****l f**ls so much as a nuclear meltdown which could destroy our world. Of course we need to avoid a nuclear war at all cost. After all, I'm just too damn old to hide under my desk like I was told to do when practicing for a nuclear war in the early 60's.

Your right I'm to old also. As for what I said earlier my 21 year old son told me that as I was explaining to him the organic beef I bought. It made sense true I don't know sorry if I said something wrong but it makes sense.
