Byron York warned Monday of the rising "toxicity" of the anti-Trump resistance movement, highlighting three troubling developments in recent days. In a Washington Examiner column, titled "Anti-Trump fever takes threatening turn," York points to two op-eds specifically in the New York Times and Washington Post that he characterized as "rationalizations for denying Trump supporters public accommodation and for doxxing career federal employees." Appearing on "America's Newsroom," York noted that the co-owner of a Virginia restaurant who refused to serve then-White House Press Secretary Sarah Sanders said she believes the "rules are changing" when it comes to businesses or their staffers expressing political opposition.

In the op-ed, Stephanie Wilkinson responded to an incident in which Eric Trump was spat on by an employee of a Chicago cocktail bar and said if Trump officials do not want to face such anger, "maybe [they] should consider dining at home." He also highlighted a weekend op-ed in the New York Times in which a London human rights professor effectively called on people to "doxx" Border Patrol agents, arguing such steps are needed to stop "mass atrocity" from occurring at the border. On top of that, York lamented the A****a attack on conservative journalist Andy Ngo as he covered a P***d B**s rally in Portland, Ore. (photo attached)

Video from the incident doesn't show what precipitated the attack or what followed it, but Ngo can be seen being kicked, punched, doused with a milkshake and sprayed with an unknown substance.

The so-called "milkshakes" reportedly contained quick-drying cement, pepper spray and raw eggs. "Shunning, shaming, doxxing, attacking. As the 2020 campaign reaches full speed, would it surprise anyone to see all of it increase? And all from people who congratulate themselves for standing against h**e. Perhaps our politics will cool down at some point in the future. But not now," York concluded.

Of course they, the left, condone it. Maxine Waters was pushing for this to happen the day the President took office.

They can only do this where they are welcomed by the authorities. Disgraceful. Sick.

These examples are necessary for people to understand where l*****t ideology inexorably goes.

They will be crushed, BTW. Their karma is already coming. Let them try sht like that in the hinterlands.

Lol, I think it was strangling a fussy baby.

So your option here is to compare campaign rally rhetoric to actual physical abuse? Not a word of condemnation for the antics of A****a?

Hi Sing!

You can't recall because it was nothing.

How long do you think this will go on before military action is taken? Seriously.

"Events" like this will not work to the advantage of the loonies wrestling power from the Old Guard and the Democrat Party in 2020. Mark my words.

Although true, the urging of Waters was party rhetoric, once anyone acted on it, it should have been called out, not condoned, whether silently or not. The left needs to come down hard on these A****a nut jobs.

It takes a Republican (Ted Cruz) to make a call for action. I hope Portland’s mayor goes to jail for his ineptitude.

I agree with Woody Allen on very little except his opinion of the relative effectiveness of various methods of persuasion where N**is are involved.

They are very limited in where they can get away with this. DEMOCRAT STRONGHOLDS naturally, because the party has forsaken its soul in its mad attempt to redo 2016.

I'm restrained by my conservative principles from cowardly, mob attacks on my liberal political opponents. I'm not restrained from sticking an icepick through the ribs of an attacker.
