I saw an article a few days ago that India has had a drought that has already k**led millions of people over the last decade, and that three major rivers are dry that affect 20 large cities that will run out of groundwater by 2020, affecting 100 million people and 20 large cities.
Innovative technologies have been implemented in cities all over the world that saw droughts coming and invested billions into ways to conserve water, but India apparently hasn't jumped on them as early as they should have.
