Trump’s Wall VS Obama’s Cages
How many times have you heard liberals call Trump a r****t, bigot, or xenophobe because of his stance on immigration?
Probably too many to count…
However, what many of these liberals don’t realize is the fact that their chosen one, Barack Obama, was WAY tougher on immigration than Trump is.
In fact, during the majority of his time in office, 2009-2015, he deported more than 2.5 MILLION people from the United States.
What’s funny is…
Nobody cared what ICE was doing under Obama. When he used them as a weapon against criminal i*****l i*******ts, no one batted an eye – but when Trump does the same, the Left’s call to “abolish ICE” can be heard all over the internet and in marches everywhere.
But just a few years ago…
They were quite alright with ICE.
ICE Was OK Under Obama
The only difference being, the Obama administration was very vocal about making dangerous i******s a priority. Those individuals who qualified for a Priority One capture were “threats to national security, border security, and public safety”…
Which included gang members, felons, felony arrests, and “anyone apprehended at the border trying to enter the country illegally.”
If that was you during the Obama years – you got a one-way ticket back to your home country.
After that, there were Priority two captures which covered those who had been found guilty of “misdemeanors and new immigration violations,”…
This included “aliens convicted of three or more misdemeanor offenses, other than minor traffic violations” as well as those caught and convicted of domestic violence, sexual abuse, burglary, DUIs or drug trafficking.
If that was YOU under the Obama years – bon voyage!
But that’s not all…
Besides being the most deportation-prone president of all time – Barack Obama was responsible for the construction of the infamous “cages” in which the i*****l i*******t children are being held.
Who did you THINK built these “cages”?
They weren’t built until 2015, when Trump was simply eyeing the White House, not actually occupying it…
So, who could have ordered those cages to be built?
Thomas Homan, Obama’s executive associate director of ICE revealed in a recent conference about immigration, that the “cages” were not only built under Barack Obama, but they were HIS idea!

Homan said, “‘I’ve been to that facility, where they talk about cages. That facility was built under President Obama under (Homeland Security) Secretary Jeh Johnson. I was there because I was there when it was built.’”
Under the order of Barack Obama…
Not Donald Trump.
When asked by Dem speaker at the conference, “You still keep kids in cages?”
Homan replied, “I would answer the question, ‘The kids are being housed in the same facility built under the Obama administration.’ If you want to call them cages, call them cages. But if the Left wants to call them cages and the Democrats want to call them cages, then they have to accept the fact that they were built and funded in FY 2015.”
But that’s not all…
Homan also revealed WHY the cages were built, saying they “were not built to take care of children.”
But because of the unprecedented surge in i*****l i*********n, they’ve had to improvise with what they’ve got, as the Health and Human Services hasn’t funded them enough to care adequately for the kids.
Even more, they’re not cages…
They’re dividers.
Homan says, that there are no cages at the center, but chain-link fencing that separates kids from adults, done for the safety of the children.
“It’s chain link dividers that keeps children separate from unrelated adults,” Homan says, “It’s about protecting children.”
So…
If all this was done under Obama – who is the real r****t, bigot, and xenophobe?
Trump didn’t start this initiative…
He simply took it over.
If the Left is looking for a target for their anger over the treatment of i******s, they’re pointing at the wrong president.
