But on the other hand, Our retired seniors, Living on a 'fixed income,' Receive NO aid!
Nor do they get any breaks, while our government And religious organizations will pour
Hundreds of Billions Of $$$$$$'s and Tons of Food to Foreign Countries!

Someone needs to explain to them that
Charity begins AT HOME!!!

And another atrocity....We have Hundreds of adoptable American Children who are shoved aside
to make room for the adoption of Foreign orphans.

AMERICA: A country where we have countless Homeless without shelter.
Children going to bed hungry, elderly going without needed medication and the Mentally ill without treatment --
Our military vets after fighing to persevere our way of life are shunned when they are sick or damaged in action. Can we in all honesty say "I am proud to be a American"

YET..........they will have a 'Benefit' Show for the people of Haiti, on 12 TV Stations;
Ships and planes lining up with food, water, tents clothes, bedding, doctors and medical supplies.

Now Just Imagine if our own *GOVERNMENT*
Gave 'US' the same support they give to foreign countries.
Sad, isn't it?


we need to dump every one of these ass holes in government ,..we the people need to start making the laws and stop all this wasteful spending on people that do not like us, but just our money.

To make matters worst, we bring there people here and teach them in our universities how to make nukes, rockets,
Chemistry that can make all kinds of mass k*****g stuff, biology that can lead to germ warfare. Do we all have brain damage or what?

And if the general population would v**e on each and every law/tax/program etc that would be true DEMOCRACY, and as all of the constitutional experts quickly point out, the United States is a CONSTITUTIONAL REPUBLIC, electing people to represent them.

The folks we have sent to D.C. do not represent us. Their first order of business is always to kick start their ree******n campaigns. They authorize spending way beyond what we can afford and there are folks on these forums who believe that that is OK! That when that happens we should just pony up more taxes to pay for it. And be glad to do it. Meanwhile, back at the ranch, we go along with our average days and as long as we can get by we don't bother to do much of anything about it all. Technically these turkeys work for us. If they're off on a tangent it's up to us to rein them in. Are we doing that? When 32% of the registered Republicans v**e, can we really blame Obama?

Lets all turn to our mirrors and say, "The future of America is in your hands. What are you going to do about it?"

As for the adoption, younger white children have been adopted very quickly, but minorities have opposed allowing a person not of the same minority from adopting minority kids. This has made it difficult for white people who want American children from finding available children. This is more about politics getting in the way of people doing the best for the kids. This is coming from someone who wanted to adopt an American but was told that I would have to wait a long time for a kid to be available because the only available kids I would be allowed to adopt were over 10 years old.

(Yes, I know I could have adopted an older kid like some of my friends did because that was who was available, but I am already competing against a memory with my step children and I did not feel I could go through that again.)

I agree. We shouldn't be giving all this money to other countries, especially since most of it goes to our enemies.
I strongly disagree with you about Christian charities and ministries. They are heavily involved with work here at home and around the world. I am involved in several myself.
Almost every church I know of is involved in local and global charities and missions to provide food, clothing, medicines, support missionaries to spread the Gospel, provide Bibles and the list goes on. There are also Christian recovery ctrs. to help people with alcohol, drugs, etc. etc. etc.
If you want to get involved it is easy. Find a church where you feel led an jump in.
On your other point we have made it extremely difficult for Americans to adopt children here so that is why people go overseas to adopt. You can thank our government for this with all the restriction, rules, regulations etc. There are so many Americans qualified to adopt children into loving homes but can't get thru the red tape.

All we are trying to win their friendship and in the mean time we are punishing our own citizens. I agree with you completely that charity begins at home and what part of that don't our "smart ass" politicians can not under understand. We need to take our country back but how many people show up in DC on May 16 and how many of the 47% are willing to work. We have a messed up country.

If this government went by the Constitution like they are supposed to, we would not have this problem. The only thing that this government is allowed to spend money on is listed in the Constitution, but like everything else, they do pretty much anything they want to do and no one says anything about it. They sure don't pay attention to the Constitution any more.

All three branches are passing laws they are not allowed to pass. Since Congress is the only branch that is allowed to pass any laws, ALL the rest are unconstitutional and should be thrown out. The President and Supreme Court are not allowed to pass laws, yet they do it all the time.

The few areas the President is allowed to have any say is listed in the Constitution and the Supreme Court has NO law making ability. They in fact are sharply restricted to the cases they can even hear, but they get around that by changing the meanings of words so they can even hear a case.

One slight correction Ed, if you don't mind. Congress, (the House), is the only one allowed to write laws, while the others may propose them. The other two, the Senate and the President, can affirm them or not. It actually takes all three to pass a law. Even EO's are not technically laws, I don't believe. If I am in error, I am sure I will be corrected, if not chastised, for being stupid, r****t, h********c, or wh**ever.

You are correct Gringo. That is why technically obamacare is null and void and will be bac before the Supreme Court. obamacare came out of the senate and therefore cannot be considered to be a law.
