How in the world is the Constitution flawed Obiwan?

I'll let Smedley address your military service~ However thank you for your service~

You are correct in your post, 'Patriots are in short supply' if they are libs. Not many of you and your ilk were around after the 4th of July celebration in DC.

Jake: In my opinion the Constitution is flawed in that when it was written -July 1776 - it included phrases such as: We the people...believe that "all men" are created equal, and endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable rights, among these are the right to freedom and the pursuit of happiness....." those Founding Fathers either forgot -or didn't bother to consider that only w****s were considered men - the Native Indians, Africans, etc. were all considered "less than" or just simply "heathen." If "all men" were seen as truly created equal - why were women and minorities prevented from v****g for decades? If equal, why was s***ery allowed to go on nearly 200 years after the Declaration of Independence? Why was Jim Crow and Segregation allowed to even exist? Why are women still underpaid nearly $2 per hour less than a male counterpart? These are just a few examples...In regards to Smedley addressing my military service - no thanks. Where I come from, polliwogs are not permitted to speak about superior sailors - not my choice - just the rules!

Jake: I don't "play" the race card - there are way too many people who are quick to try and use that as a "reverse r****m" tool. But here's something too consider: had those who choose to be r****t chose not to be r****t then would there be such a thing as a "race card?"// Since you got jokes, try this one:
Question: Do you know why there are 13 buttons on the sailor's dress blue uniform?
Answer: When you undo the buttons it makes a perfect serving tray for Marines!

Semper Fidelis my brother!

Not exactly. Every 50 years the V****g Rights Act must be re-approved by Congress - why is that so since we're all so equal? Women are still being underpaid when compared to males with the same education, experience and job title. Minorities are still being oppressed by gerrymandering and unfair v****g laws. We have made many improvements, but we still have a long, long, way to go. Perhaps a better question to consider would be: why were things ever permitted to be so "un-equal" in the first place - considering that the Pilgrims fled Britain because they felt there were not getting equal representation?

I disagree. Women in the workplace are given benefits that men aren't given. Maternity leave for one. You have to factor benefits into overall pay.

You do realize that "maternity leave" also benefits the man -who played a major part in the birth in the first place -and who would also be responsible for paying child care because mom is not yet back to work right?

My daughter in law has six weeks of paid maternity leave, while my son has none to enjoy his new child.
Besides that, if you want to take out ability, motivation, performance, and all other factors differentiating people in the workplace, you would be stripping employers of the right to pay people according to their value to the company.

Personally, I think that the argument about women being mistreated in the workplace is bulls**t. Just like your earlier r****t argument was.
Those days are over. Quit living in the past already, it's 2019 for crying out loud.

Besides, you're behind the times. Shouldn't you be fighting for equal pay for tattooed, pierced, hair colored, misfits with no sk**ls, or motivation?

And, who is going to fight for equal pay rights for the other 72 g****rs out there?

Gimme a break. This is an old, washed up complaint, and your attention is now on it because some rug munching, hard to look at soccer players had a tantrum about it. Right?
Or, are you supporting DeBlasios platform now?

Where I come from "superior sailors" know the difference between the Persian Gulf and the Red Sea, and the Mediterranean.

The only "platform" I'm interested in supporting is the one of t***h. I know many, many women who would disagree with your take on "equal pay" - but I respect your right to believe and see it as you do. You can't admit that "without actual r****m there would be no need for the race card" -not to mention admitting that for many, many years women (and minorities) have been treated on a sub-par level compared to white men -which is also sad - because it has been proven many times over. I don't bash the L***Q crowd. I do not agree with or support their choice to be "gay" - but I am not their judge and will not deny them the right to be that way. My obligation to my God says "be the best example of Christ that you can be" and allow me to take care of the rest. Many people will not speak t***h for many reasons. I am not one of those people.

Louie: Sadly, our Constitution is flawed in several ways...here are a few examples: In the Preamble, it is written: We, the people of the United States in order to establish justice, ensure domestic tranquility, provide for the common defense and promote the general welfare do hereby establish and ordain this Constitution of the United States of America.//Nothing wrong there eh? Look again: "we the people" is a fallacy because at the time of its inception, Native Americans and most minorities were not even considered to be "men/people" so they were excluded from the start.
There is a phrase in the Constitution that says "we believe that all men were created equal and endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable rights, among these are the rights to life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness."//Obviously, Native Indians and Africans were not considered 'equal' [b****s were only considered to be 3/5ths of a person -who in the hell came up with that?] -nor where they allowed equal access to life, liberty, or the pursuit of happiness. Kind of hard to enjoy life when all of your back-breaking hard work went to totally support the "massa" -and your only liberty was at the whim of s***e owners who could literally do any and everything they wanted to you -there were actually laws against "excessively whipping your horse or cow" -not so for the s***e. The "pursuit of happiness" was reserved for w****s only during the time the Constitution was written. Women were not treated much better, and even today still suffer huge disparity in wages and equal rights. If we all are equal, why does the V****g Rights Act have to be renewed every 50 years when it should be a permanent right of all law abiding citizens? If the Founding Fathers were really all for e******y, why were the Native Indians forced to live on desert-like reservations with little to no food? Even today, most Native Americans are forced to live on reservations with third-world accommodations -but do not be deceived - as long as some business developer can erect a casino on their (Native Indians) land, then the Indians shouldn't complain right? If the Constitution was adhered to and enforced as it should be - how did we ever have Jim Crow, segregation and gerrymandering of our v****g system? Louie, these are just a few examples off the top of my head. Yes, I know that no one is perfect -and we have made vast improvements - but we still have a mighty, mighty long way to go. Why is it that we try to force our citizens to stand, salute and pledge allegiance to a f**g that was never designed for them? Why did we force school aged children to sing the Star Spangled Banner knowing all along that the 3rd and 4th verses support and encouraged s***ery? And why, if we're so equal, can h**e groups like Neo-N**i's and the KKK gain permits to assemble and march while stating their open h**e for people simply because they don't look like them -yet let a black athlete refuse to stand for the anthem and he is blacklisted and kept out of the work field he chose? Yet, at the same time we support the likes of Limbaugh, Alex Jones, and that Milo Yippanopolous (sp?) and call it all free speech? Finally, why was Colin Kaepernick the only NFL athlete singled out to blacklist when many players (including white guys) kneeled during the anthem? All men are created equal. Yes, America is a beacon of light in the free world -but America is by no means without her flaws....we still have much work to do.
