They would for the most part sleep at the homes of friends and realities who live in the US, a far better place than the Trump internment camps.

No way do the majority who came here illegally (even if through no fault of their own) all have US friends and relatives. A few months ago, the apprehensions reached 100,000 a month. Don't know how much higher it has climbed since. The majority are from central America, which previously had not seen much legal or i*****l i*********n. So how would the friends and relatives of hundreds of thousands of central American kids, be legally in the US.

But I agree that sleeping in the homes of friends and relatives is a good idea. Those homes would be in the country they came from!

Oh, and don't forget that the Democrats in Congress brought a court case to prevent kids from being DNA tested to locate relatives and prevent them from being handed over to traffickers who claim to be the parents. Now if you are okay with children being forced into the sex trade, then stick to upholding the Democrats in Congress. But if you, like most rational adults find child trafficking to be horrendous, get behind the solution of DNA testing. Unless you know a more accurate and fast way to determine paternity? DNA testing rarely takes more than 4 days to get results back, and usually 1 to 2 days. The numbers might slow down the results, but not by much.

1) If the two houses of congress would pass a humanitarian aid funding bill, maybe they'd have a leg to stand on when condemning Trump for the crisis, they only just realized was not his fabrication. But both the house and senate bills do NOT fund for the number IN detention. They are limiting funding to provide for barely more than a tenth of those in detention.

2) If they didn't do all in their power to stop deportations, those in detention would have a shorter stay.

3) But most importantly, if they'd fund the wall, we'd have far less getting in to be apprehended. How long will this $4.5 billion last in humanitarian aide? It will have to be given again and again. Maintaining a wall would cost a minuscule of the amount.

4) And while all this is going on, CBP is tied up in seeing to those in detention instead of guarding our border.

Your Trump internment camps were built years ago. Do you never tire of displaying your ignorance?
