The problem is Trump hasn't turned anything around. He's divided the country worse than it has ever been and the only gift to the economy is a trillion a year in new debt. If we were in a deep recession and were spending a trillion a year to get out of it that would be one thing but a trillion a year equates to a 5% GDP and we haven't even been able to break an annualized 3% growth. How can you spend 5% per year and then dance up and down over a return under 3%? That's what Dick Morris is doing.

Trump is a bully and conservatives love bullies. But actually accomplishments? Only in the eyes of conservatives...

If Peters doesn't think Trump has changed anything perhaps his welfare check for not working didn't increase or the price of meth is still too high. All the other economic indicators seem to have improved; some have improved greatly.

It's not Tump who's the problem but those who elected him and built a completely false universe around him. The problem with the economy under Obama, was that while it could have very good quarters, some above 5% there were always enough bad ones to keep yearly GDP no higher than 2.9%. Under Trump there was one quarter above 4% and two quarters above 3% with everything else below 3% yet the crowing about how wonderful things are never seem to stop. Yes, unemployment has continued to go down but only by 1% over what Obama had accomplished. But the real marker that his economy isn't what it's cracked up to be is that it needs 5% in debt (1 trillion a year) to produce yearly growth under 3%. That's laughable and a sign of what we would expect coming out of a recession. We aren't though but well out of one which only goes to show how your ideology has made you blind to the world around you.

Trump defects are defects for the country and the blindness displayed by the ideology that he plays to only goes to prove the point...
