Academic credentials, as I've previously noted, as often as not aren't issued with a common sense attachment or any sort of fiscal capability.

I've known a few geniuses in my time, including two brothers who had a running competition to see which could memorize the most years' World Almanacs.

In every case, they would have shined like the sun...

...in any academic community, but I wouldn't have given any odds on any of them being capable of competently running a business.

I'd rather have a seat-of-the-pants, rags-to-riches businessman, a real estate billionaire, a former admiral sporting the NSW Budweiser or, for that matter, a tractor mechanic in the White House than a friggin' lawyer or career politician.

At least, like I do now, I'd know we have a president who can chew gum, walk and think at the same time, and I can be confident that his loyalties are to America, the American people, U.S. sovereignty and the Constitution.
