There is no law protecting spoon and fork companies they can be sued and if the merits of the case are there the suit will succeed. Why should firearms manufacturers be exempt from litigation when other industries are not?
But they have never been sued for making someone fat. Do you even read the comments, or give any thought to what you are going to say before you open your mouth and stick your foot in it?
Firearm manufacturers are not exempt from lawsuits. It depends on what the suit is for. But guns don't k**l people. If they did no one would get out of a gun show alive.
My Lazy Gun... With all of the damned fool anti-gun rhetoric being puked out by our President about curbing gun violence by taking away our constitutional blessings I decided to once again publish this little piece of wisdom. I got it in my mailbox several years ago from a hunting buddy. I got it again this morning from another reader and it is a good reminder.
"Today I swung my front door wide open and placed my Remington 30.06 on the deck rail.
I left six cartridges beside it, then left it alone and went about my business.
While I was gone, the mailman delivered my mail, my neighbor across the street mowed the yard, a girl walked her dog down the street, and quite a few cars stopped at the stop sign near the front of my house.
After about an hour, I checked on the gun. It was still sitting there, right where I had left it.
It hadn't moved itself off the deck rail.
It hadn't k**led anyone, even with the numerous opportunities it had to do so. In fact, it hadn't even loaded itself. You can imagine my surprise, with all the hype by the Left and the Media about how dangerous guns are and how they k**l people.
Either the media is wrong or I'm in possession of the laziest gun in the world.
The United States is third in murders throughout the World. But if you take out just four cities:
Chicago, Detroit, Washington DC and New Orleans, the United States is fourth from the bottom, in the entire world, for murders
These four Cities also have the toughest Gun Control Laws in the U.S. and all four of these cities have been CONTROLLED BY DEMOCRATS for literally for decades. They are also the four cities that are hovering on the edges of bankruptcy.
It would be absurd to draw any conclusions from this data - correct?
Well, I'm off to check on my spoons & forks. I hear they're making people fat".

Barack Obama, at a recent rural elementary school assembly in South Carolina, asked the audience for total quiet. Then, in the silence, he started to slowly clap his hands once every few seconds, holding the audience in total silence.
Then he said into the microphone, 'Children, every time I clap my hands together, a child in America dies from gun violence.'
Then, little Darryl, with a proud South Carolina drawl, pierced the quiet and said: "Well, ya dumb ass, stop clappin'!”
