You're just too damned serious about this. Some of us get a real kick out of shooting guns, and if we don't nail a 1 inch group at a hundred yards, BFD.

One thing I enjoy out here in cowboy country is we don't have range officers at our community shooting range. We do our own safety protocols. Every one at the range looks out for themselves and every one else.

There's nothing inherently wrong with either of those things, sounds like you know how to let off steam. Good for you.

Here's an interesting question. Two guys face off in the street. One has a fully automatic AK47 and a 100 round magazine. The other has a single shot .22 bolt action rifle. Who wins the firefight?

The one who hits the first lethal shot.

Center mass or extremity? There's a difference, and that's why accuracy matters.

The shooter was trying for as large a k**l as possible. You seem to be more knowledgeable than I am. My thinking is that the sheer number of rounds fired off was more important than accuracy. Granted having full auto firearms would have been preferable to the murderer, but if that was not an option, then I am missing why the bump stock was inferior to semi auto mode. I am missing the center mass or extremity point. My understanding was that the murderer was firing down into such a massive crowd that it was impossible to miss.

The one who took the time to aim

Precisely! The one who makes the first accurate shot. Bump stocks are not aids to accuracy, just volume.
