Amos chapter 5

Verse 1 - 3

The destruction of Israel will be thorough and complete.

Verse 4 - 6

Obedience to God is the only road to life. Man cannot make one seed or put life in one bug. None of us can control the weather. We are all just here for the ride.

Verse 7 - 9

Anyone who doesn’t believe in God is corrupt. God put every star in the sky and strengthens all.

Verse 10 - 13

How can we have gay clergy? How can you teach God’s word and live contrary to God’s word? How can a pastor sleep with the wives of the men that bring their families to his church? Why do we elect unqualified criminals to govern us? Bernie Sanders was a failure for 40 years until he got elected. When he says education should be free; he doesn’t know what he is talking about. Who is going to pay for it? The government only gets money from taxpayers.

Verse 14 and 15

We are all sinners. Try the best you can to be as good as you can.

Verse 16 and 17

We will reap what we sow. We should know a tree by its fruit. Actions have consequences.Socialialism always starts off with good intentions, but ends with death. Socialism is corrupt and destroys every nation it governs. Look at Venezuela.

Verse 18 - 20

We have the wrong expectations from Christianity. Your life should suck. satan has deceived the whole world. We shouldn’t expect good treatment from deceived minds.

Verse 21 and 22

The two most important days in Christianity are the day Jesus was born and the day He died. We have turned those days into Christmas and Easter. Jesus is completely forgotten.

Verse 23 and 24

God is more pleased with an inward change of repentance than a outward show of worship. Singing and dancing are useless if we continue to murder our own children.

Verse 25 - 27

The unforgivable sin is when satan is mistaken for Jesus. The Jesus everyone thinks they know and the Jesus revealed in scripture are different.
