Mr. Marx Applauds from the Grave

Governor Jerry Brown (D-Ca) has revised his state budget upward to cover the cost of Medical (California Medicaid) for the coming year; something about Obama Care loopholes. Most states will face this painful reality so it's nothing special. What is special is this...

Brown left PR in the hands of Richard Pan (D-Ca) head of the California State Health committee; the guy who's job it is to plan and project the state health budget. When asked about the $1.3 billion unexpected projected expense Pan said;

"Our policy goal is to get people covered. So in that sense it's a success. We are going to have to deal with how to support the success."

In all my years of reading I don't remember seeing the Socialist/Democrat/Progressive methodology so succinctly, precisely and humbly defined.

In our gee-I-wish-I-would-have-said-that category...Mr. Marx is applauding from the grave...

It really shows the insanity of the left. I thought California had already declared bankruptcy or I know they are close to it. Who is paying for the democratic mess of California? I guess that was a stupid question. I guess we are.

The R.Pan comment, is reminiscent of another comment that seems to be a product of the exact methodology that you have exposed. No doubt you remember,".....we have to pass it before we can read it ". ( N. Pelosi )

I have adopted a new term for this phenomena as my observations have developed. " Reverse Politics ", satisfies my layman's understanding.

An additional term has arisen to assist in defining the progenitors of this tactic. " Reverse Liberalism ".

Has not Mr. Pan demonstrated the act of declaring success without having achieved the means to pay for it's implementation ? Is this not the reverse of the proven method ? Has it not been the favorable option to first appropriate the means to guarantee the success ?

I have to think about he reverse politics. It has potential. In the meantime;

If I may expand on your logic, I believe Mr. Pan has redefined failure out of existence. He is therefore implying perpetually paying for failure redefined in Progressive parlance as success.

Ya gotta admit, a masterful turn of phrase and the tribalist left have no idea what he really said as in 'we're gonna tax the crap out of somebody.'

It might be fun to start a record of Progressive quips and quotes...Joe Biden alone would fill a book...
