When is the last time you got a $4,500 raise? House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Cali- fornia) is leading the charge to cry poverty and push for a raise.
I’m confused. Is this the same Speaker Pelosi who is “concerned” for leaving behind the middle class, the working people? I guess Trump’s economy is working enough for her to justify a pay raise now, right? How else can she explain taking a raise?
But according to Pelosi’s own website, “The economy just isn’t working the way it should: the costs of living keep rising, but families’ incomes and wages aren’t keeping up.” Pelosi speaks with forked tongue!

Let’s just say the obvious: These blood- sucking kings and queens haven’t earned a bit of their pay. I’ll say it again, both parties created a mega-mess by putting a $22 trillion debt on us taxpayers and an even bigger mess for our children and grandchildren’s future. There’s no end to their wasteful spending, because they simply won’t stop. They are addicted to our tax dollars like Bill Clinton is addicted to sex.
Congress managed all this while in ses- sion just 145 days. Do the math, they get 220 vacation days in one year. That’s more days than they work. I say send Congress to the Mexican border to change diapers, heat baby formula, and serve meals. They should do something for their pay instead of their con- stant fighting and wasteful spending. How dare they ask for a raise!?
Serving in Congress is supposed to be an honor, but instead Congress has lost their greedy minds. Trump donates his salary and if he can do that, Congress can take a cut in pay, not an increase.

They spend 90 days a year actually in DC, slaving over all the stuff they don't get accomplished, spend 70 days a year on vacation and 200 days a year sucking up to donors to line their pockets ( disguised as "lobbying" and "campaigning" ). Who can do all that for $168,000 a year?

To my way of thinking, every single one of them owe we taxpayers a refund of around $150,000.

Pelosi and Schumer have just backed off on the raise but call it a COzlA increase and are still going to pursue it.
