Fishing
Lake Livingston is one of the largest lakes in the state, noted for its white bass population. You might catch catfish, crappie, bass or that kid favorite - perch. The park has three boat ramps, two fish cleaning stations, a fishing pier and bank fishing.
For more fishing and lake information, visit our Lake Livingston page.

We loan cane fishing poles as part of the Tackle Loaner Program; check with the park store for availability. Remember, you do not need a fishing license to fish from shore in a state park. Check at park headquarters for more information.
There was something about a $5.00 fee to enter the park and there was other info as well. It appears that this lake has gators as well just so that you are aware of that.
