"eagle, why are you right wingers so fixated on the past??" - permafrost

Lady Hillary is now a writer and retired.. See what endless lies can do for the right wing.. no wonder it never changes..

How about an issue that is current? not something your wishes were concerned with years ago..

How about we require our Government to live up to the constitution?

Let me clear you up on this, perm;

"Rightwingers" are fixated on preserving our future as a Republic, by protecting the Constitution from rewrites.
We hold to using properly ratified Amendments to do that. Not Liberal judges to undermine it.

That is silly...

You guys never ever support the constitution unless it fits in with what you want..

When it is opposed to your wishes, then you cry about the changes over the years, even when we have had none..

It is your way, or someone has violated what the founding fathers meant to say..

regardless of how clear those founding fathers were in the writing they did..

Only if it is what you like do you ever support the constitution..

The first problem is that you accuse everyone who doesn't agree with you as a right-winger. You are actually a moderate, aren't you? So I know all of this will actually make more sense to you than to most.

Conservatives want nothing more than for the government to live up to the Constitution, not the phony "Living Constitution" that the Progressives have been shoving onto us for the past century. What issue is more current and relevant than that one? We have been gifted with a system of government that was divinely inspired. The Founders who understood history and human nature better than anyone wrote the most magnificent document ever since the beginning of humankind.

There are many Republicans who are moderate, just as there are Democrats who are also moderate. The Democratic Party has been pushed further and further left by socialism and progressivism, while the Republicans have been rejecting those ideas of the far right. Most Republican and Independents don't embrace white nationalism, the KKK, xenophobia, misogyny, etc. that the left tries to paint them as. Anyone who looks at the big picture would clearly see this. This is the problem that the Left has; their biased view of the world. You can disagree all you want but this is objective t***h.

The reason Conservatives and Independents are fixated on the past is that L*****ts never seem to learn anything from it. L*****ts are doomed to repeat the failures of the past. Churchill said something to this effect, "You can count on America to always do the right thing after they have tried everything else." We haven't tried everything else, but we came very close to doing so with eight years of Obama. God help us if we continue down this road and let the L*****ts get control of this country because it will mean the end of the greatest experiment in self-government; possibly to never return again.

I hope all is well in your neck of the woods. Be well my friend!

They get dumped into my "Wire" which is supposed to be for News and personal/family information..

Most have no info, but I think many come out face book and other social media.. I only do face book, so some I recognize..

I personally like the amusing ones best, but tis my duty to stir the pot, so the political ones get posted also..

But I do hole some back.. a nice right wing lady sent my a very reasonable post back long ago, so I try a bit to keep things calm..
