Amos chapter 3

Verse 1 and 2

In church, pastors try to lead you to a Christ they obviously never followed. If satan has deceived the whole world, and you are following Christ; then someone should threaten to kill you. satan will move the gates of hell to discredit you. he has to because his logic is pathetic. God speaks through His word. He gave His word to the children of Jacob. To whom much is given, much is required.

Verse 3 - 6

The answer to all questions is no. The questions lead to verse 7.

Verse 7 and 8

If God speaks to you, satan hates you and considers you an enemy. God speaks in His word. You will either listen to God or man. Friendship with the world is enmity with God.

Verse 9 - 11

Listening to man always comes with negative consequences, so does learning the wrong lessons. Evildoing hurts the evildoer worse than anyone else.

Verse 12

This was written before Israel was removed from the map by Assyria. God can declare the end from the beginning.

Verse 13 - 15

Israel had mixed with the Canaanites as soon as they took over. Israel never worshipped the true God. Eventually, they would lose everything they had.
