I believe you're right on point. I ran across this app called "Capitol Call" which once you go through the setup process (my setup process was based on my GPS location), provides the telephone number so you can make a telephone call to your Senator and House of Representative member, as well as your state legislator, i.e, governor, district state representative, etc. Additionally, there is a section that provides a short tutorial of what to do when calling. Give it a try.

I just took a look at it. Is it free? I didn’t see any price tag for the app.

Okay. As an oldie myself, I know what ya mean. So I live in two states myself: one is the state in which I reside, while the other is state of confusion.

The problem is looking at an issue and making an emotionally based decision on this, there are facts that matter before making decisions like this...

...How much money was put in the fund to start with
...How well was the fund administered
...How many people have received benefits
...Were people given too much money so there wasn't enough to go around, such as multi million dollar settlements
...are people coming back for more money
...how many new ones are there and how much is being proposed for them

This thing was solidly funded, I have seen things here and there that would indicate large settlements that were too large to support compensation for the entire size of the group. This is what happens when large settlement pools are established if the administration is incompetent.

Disasters cannot be effectively dealt with by making out of perspective settlements that have no end.

there was a thread where someone posted a news story while back during budget meeting there was like 27 million to go to 9/11 and military families they took 25 million and put it for i******s education and only put 2 million for our responders and military families this isn't an accident this is a message from them to us that we don't count and people need to wake up to that fact

Our politicians will pass a bill to extend the monies. They will then have a big party and run around patting each other on the back and saying they were for this the whole time.

I thought all the families of those who died in 9/11 were compensated handsomely. Are you all saying they were not?
