Son, I sense you anger and frustration. As I said, I detest the aggressive ones but have compassion for the weak who are caught up and according to what I've learned don't know another way out. They are almost s***es, not only to their own desires but are caught in a monied situation. They have no where else to go, no other way to go. That's why so many are suicidal.
I've been propositioned, I've had attempts to seduce me, DC no less. Didn't work.
I've known a lot of gay folks both male and female and have never but once had a problem because I accepted them and they accepted me as who we were.
I try to not condemn anyone for any reason unless they prove to be truly evil. I will defend anyone against being ostracized for sexual orientation until they try to incorporate children into their way of life. They can't affect me but children are a different story. Mike

Gay or straight I don't want sexuality thrown in my face... To be honest it has made watching movies or TV rather difficult... I don't think of myself as a prude (and I like a nice pair of legs as much as the next man) but it seems like sex and nudity are a must for the movie industry now... And most of it is not tastefully done...
I absolutely agree with your last paragraph

I love the recent story about Oberlin College in Ohio had to pay a bakery/deli $11 Million because they were being called r****ts by protestors from the college. If you haven't read about it in the news, it started when a Black student tried to steal a bottle of wine, was confronted, and two of his friends joined in the fracas. The Dean of Students supported the protest outside the bakery by furnishing food and drinks for the protestors essentially giving tacit approval and support for the protest, even after the original student involved said it wasn't r****m, he just did an i***tic thing.

Some of my kids college friends were gay and when I drove my kids back to college I gave them a ride, and no big deal. I don't run my mouth in front of them and they don't kiss their partners in front of me. Live and let live.
Did you ever watch that movie I recommended? I think it was called "instant family"...
Haven't hadmuch luck with movie night lately...
Although I watched a French Cartoon movie with my daughter the other day...
Had to read the subtitles.. Bit it was pretty decent.. Can't think of the name... I needed a break from Peppa pig

I lecture my students when I walk into a classroom early and there is a couple using it as a make out spot... Not appropriate!
One of the most difficult things for me was how the Indians and Arabs hold hands when they walk... It's not sexual..just culture...but I get weird strolling in the park when some guy wants to hold my hand... Chinese guys do it too...

I am glad to hear that there is some accountability finally happening at these colleges. All I have heard for the last ten years is left wing lunatics running the universities and figuratively getting away with murder. Even many of the left wing faculties at these august institutions have felt the wrath of the Jacobin like students they unwittingly unleashed on the unsuspecting universe.

That's my code for life. I won't s**t on your parade if you don't s**t on mine. There are always going to be mistakes because of not knowing rules. Most of us elders can read between the lines but some slack needs to be inserted until everyone is on the same page. Mike
