Liberalism is a mental disorder.

Not much irks me more than a "(Fill in blank) is a mental disease/disorder" meme. It should be "overly emotional partisan bickering is a mental disorder". Or, "allowing your emotional health and attention be dictated to you by others is a mental disorder". Too often, many are like children allowing their emotional buttons to be pushed so as to be lead around by the nose. The dark hand is at work to keep us that way. It's always been like that but social media has amplified this by 1000%.

After seeing the phrase, "liberalism is a mental disorder," I figure in the spirit of an honest and fair discussion we ought to have the opposing viewpoint represented. This view seems to be supported by objective analysis and not just me. So, I figured I'd throw in my two cents. While I don't really believe "conservatism is a mental disorder" the way many often describe liberalism as a mental disorder, one can't help but notice that there do seem to be some correlations.

For example:

Lower Cognitive Ability Predicts Greater Prejudice Through Right-Wing Ideology and Low Intergroup Contact http://journals.sagepub.com/doi/abs/10.1177/0956797611421206

Conservatism and cognitive ability http://davesource.com/Fringe/Fringe/Politics/Conservatism-and-cognitive-ability.pdf

Psychoticism, Immature Defense Mechanisms and a Fearful Attachment Style are Associated with a Higher H********c Attitude https://onlinelibrary.wiley.com/doi/abs/10.1111/jsm.12975

As can be seen, there does appear to be some correlation between conservatism, homophobia, r****m, low IQ, and mental illness. However, that does not make conservatism a mental disorder. But then, neither is liberalism.

I take exception to one thing - animal rights (not to be confused with animal welfare) is a mental disorder.

I like what Kimberly Guilfoyle, who is on the committee to re elect Trump in 2020 just said about TDS to a group of conservative women. It’s characterized by an inability to think rationally. And moldy exhibits all the symptoms.
If moldy can’t acknowledge anything good that Trump has done, then even he has to part company with lots of the mainstream media. Even they HAVE to admit, grudgingly, that the economy is in way up. By every metric. But not moldy! Nope!
Moldy focuses on stuff about Trump that’s invariably irrelevant. So it’s mostly irrational.

OK, yes, the stock market is up ... but that was because primarily of stock buybacks raising the price of the remaining stock. It's a false indicator.
The yield curve on bonds is now inverted, which has preceded every recession in recent memory.
The average wage earner has not seen much of a raise in pay, while CEO's are reaping millions.
Plants are not reopening except on a very limited scale, and what jobs are being created are in the service/hospitality sector and don't pay much. The high paying jobs are for people that maintain the robots to keep the automated manufacturing lines operating. The average middle class schmuck is either out of work or working in a much lower paying job than previously. The old manufacturing jobs won't return.
No, the accomplishments of this administration have benefited only the 1% ... not us average Joes and Joelles.

Trump better hope the Chinese don’t demand cash for all their treasury notes.

That's the biggest worry of all. It would k**l our economy, as well as a bunch of others.

Your rants border on insanity. When did you last see your psychiatrist? You probably need a change in your meds.

Why should she scar me, she's dead. her philosophy is base on her own personal dark resentment. One filled with no compassion and as evolved as a dire wolf. No, I imagine the direction of the New National Republican party to be heading in that direction.

If the direction is 180 degrees from your excuse for a party, I think it would be the best direction to go.

You are right. There is no comparison. Trump earned his money. How did Barry get his? I doubt if he got it above board.

You gotta give Obama credit. He walked away from this filthy rich, set for life, with constant taxpayer funded security, and a train wreck behind him that he,and the media can blame on someone else. AND! there are people who will never see it because of seeds he planted!

He played it well! He played THEM well!

It's a shame they don't see it.

No, you lefties don’t give a darn what happens to this country, in this country and you won’t admit, what’s been done for this country, by President Donald Trump.

The judges he appointed were a sin against this country and one that keeps on ticking just like a Timex or a bomb.
