“If It Saves One Life” Guaranteed To Limit Your Freedom
By Michael Cummings - June 7, 2019

Virginia Governor and Democrat Ralph Northam is a political champion.

Don’t misunderstand. I think he’s a mental midget and an immoral hack who should have his medical license revoked but, politically, the guy knows how to win. Admittedly, the entire mainstream media protected him when photos of him in black face surfaced, but how else can you explain his staying in office after such a scandal when any Republican in lesser circumstances would have slinked away in shame?

In light of Northam’s success in enduring the political storm, you can bet Al Franken is beating his head against a wall somewhere.

Emboldened by his political survival and fueled by the Virginia Beach shooting, Northam is on the move to restrict the Second Amendment rights of Virginians.
(VIRGINIA BEACH, Va.) — Virginia Gov. Ralph Northam announced Tuesday he will summon lawmakers back to the state Capitol to consider a package of gun-control legislation, saying last week’s deadly mass shooting in Virginia Beach calls for “v**es and laws, not thoughts and prayers.”
Northam, a Democrat confronted with a Republican-controlled General Assembly in the middle of an e******n year, also said he wants every lawmaker to go on record for or against his proposals during the special session this summer, rather than avoid tough v**es by quietly k*****g the bills in subcommittee.
“The nation will be watching,” the governor said, four days after Virginia Beach employee DeWayne Craddock used two semi-automatic handguns, a silencer and extended ammunition magazines to k**l 12 people at a municipal building. Craddock was then k**led in a gunbattle with police.
Northam’s bills include a ban on silencers and high-capacity magazines, as well as a broadening of the ability of local governments to limit guns in city buildings.
The governor said he also wants v**es on mandatory, universal background checks before gun purchases; a limit of one handgun purchase per month; and a so-called red f**g bill that would allow authorities to temporarily seize the guns of those who are a threat to themselves or others.
“I will be asking for v**es and laws, not thoughts and prayers,” he said.
In a statement, GOP Speaker Kirk Cox dismissed the governor’s call for a special session as “hasty and suspect when considered against the backdrop of the last few months” — a reference to the blackface photo scandal that nearly destroyed Northam’s career.
Naturally, Republicans stand ready to give Democrats just a little blood in return for being liked.

Cox said the Republicans will instead put forward legislation to toughen penalties for those who use guns to commit crimes.
“We believe addressing gun violence starts with holding criminals accountable for their actions, not infringing on the constitutional rights of law-abiding citizens,” Cox said.
Another top Republican, Senate Majority Leader Tommy Norment, indicated some willingness to debate a ban on large-capacity magazines, according to the Virginia Gazette, but told gun control advocates outside his office that “nothing would have helped us in Virginia Beach.”

And, of course, nothing Northam proposed will do a thing to stop violence perpetrated by those intent on harming others.

When you live by “If it saves one life!” you become a s***e to government.

What really sickens me is that every time there’s a mass shooting, politicians use it for their propaganda machine. They don’t care one whit about a few lost lives. Their purpose is to render us defenseless and then Constitutionless. We’re onto their game, so how can they keep trying it again and again?

They are making inroads with these laws. Some people have been numbed to the point of thinking no one should have a semi automatic. Its getting crazy.
