It isn't about loyalty, it is about which side sounds more credible. Russia pulling their people from Venezuela would be seen as a good thing and a nice gesture on their part, them denying they said anything like that to Trump, not so much. Where is their incentive to lie about such a thing? Trump on the other hand, he has told many lies and many of those lies, they were for absolutely no gain so it was pointless for him to have told them. That is why, in this particular instance, I would have to agree with WoodGuru, in this case, I would say that it is likely that Russia is the one telling the t***h this time around. If what Trump had claimed they said were true, it would look good on them and since they are saying it isn't true, they DON'T look as good as they would have if they really DID pull their people out. People don't typically lie to make themselves out to be a "bad guy".

Your h**e issues are really making you look stupid when you say stupid things like this out of your hatred of others. Perhaps you should seek some sort of therapy or anger management courses to help you get the "h**e monkey" off your back.

That is just your bias speaking, if you were to look objectively at what people post just on OPP alone you would see the majority of the "h**e topics" and generalized broad spectrum "h**e" is being fired off by conservatives. I have noticed that most, not all, but most of the "h**e" from the liberals tend to be directed at specific individuals, primarily Trump. The "h**e" I see from the conservatives tends to be directed non-specifically, broad spectrum, at ALL liberals/progressives/any number of labels used, and in some cases, specifically targeted at an individual, but usually it is broad spectrum "h**e". Do the research yourself with an open mind and you will see it for yourself. You can start small and just look at topics posted, that should start showing you the t***h, later you can do a full scrub and look into individual posts within topics and see the full picture. Both the simple AND the full picture will show you which side truly does express the most "h**e" on here, but only if you enter into the search objectively.

That’s one takeaway from a recent Gallup poll that shows only 32 percent of Dems are “extremely proud” to be an American, versus a substantially higher number of Republicans.

Of course, that’s a bit snarky. The low showing on the “extremely proud” scale doesn’t necessarily t***slate into “I h**e America.”

But any half-hearted political watcher can see that for him- or herself, anyway. A****a, anyone? Maxine Waters? Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez and Bernie Sanders, and the whole rising batch of self-identifying socialists who are somehow creeping out of their dirt piles to swear allegiance to a country they want to substantially change?

Yes, a case — a very strong case — can indeed be made that Democrats do h**e America, so much that they want to completely uproot its base systems, toss them to the trash, and institute new.

The survey, however, only rated how much respondents said they were “extremely proud” to be American. And overall, only 47 percent of U.S. adults described themselves that way.

That’s not very high by itself. But break it down by party, and the differences are huge. How huge? Republicans to the tune of 74 percent said they were “extremely proud” to be American, compared to 32 percent of Democrats.

Democrats in 2016, however, felt a bit different. Then, at a time when Barack Obama was still president, fully 46 percent professed extreme p***e in being an American.

So one can only surmise that the left only likes America when a progressive-slash-socialist is at the helm — which, in constitutional terms, would mean the Dems only profess p***e in America when America’s headed down a path it was never intended to tread. How quaint.

“Politics appears to be a factor,” Gallup reported of its findings, “Left-leaning groups’ antipathy toward Donald Trump and their belief that other countries look unfavorably on the president are likely factors in their decline in patriotism, particularly the sharp drops in the past year.”

Yes, the left is down in the dumps over this president, that’s for certain. But thing is, the way Democrats are acting — the crazy train they’ve been riding — virtually guarantees they’re going to face another wave of Republican leadership, another four years of the very White House administration they detest.

Hang on, poll-watchers. Those numbers for “extremely proud” to be an American are only going to go lower for the left, as the e******n season progresses.

The sad state of affairs is that when Trump says something you can bet he's the one lying.

Presidents are supposed to have witnesses so that other countries can't say a president said something he didn't.

Trump pulled that crap out of his butt, Russia has not removed anyone, Trump is trying to reflect that Russia has been backing down, which they have not.

Trump doesn't have a clue what's going on with foreign policies
