Judge dismisses House Democrats' lawsuit

Trump can now proceed with his plans to build a barrier. The DOJ argued that the House lacks standing to bring a political fight into federal court. Judge Trevor McFadden concluded that this is a political controversy that the Constitution requires the elected branches of government to work through with the various powers at their disposal, not a legal controversy that be decided by unelected federal judges.

House Democrats can now take this matter to the U.S. Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia Circuit, which currently leans to the judicial left so it looks like this might lead to a Supreme Court decision most likely in 2020. Trump will win the decision right before the e******n. He can then begin his new term with building the wall that the Democrats have tried so hard to stop during his first term. Finally!!

He has a rocky road, dems are winning the obstruction cases where Trump and Barr are refusing to give congress documents and testifying witnesses. We are going to know so much more about what's in Mueller's report that congress will file articles of impeachment based on crimes and it will be over even if he hasn't been impeached by the senate. This impeachment debate will rage into the e******n unless the GOP throws Trump under the bus to save the senate. There are 22 republicans trying to hang onto seats and only 12 dems, the GOP can easily lose control of the senate...it happened with the house and the impeachment hearings are going to constantly change people's opinions about what went on.

What are you talking about? Trump gave hundreds of thousands of pages of documents and everything else he was asked to give to Mueller...who reported to Barr. Mueller had 500+ witnesses and spent $30+ million and 2+ years investigating Trump. Now ANOTHER committee wants to start over asking for the same things? I don't blame Trump for saying no to them...he already complied, was investigated and found NOT guilty of a crime or obstruction by a team of one RINO and 16 Democrats! Enough is enough. He's not willing to go through all that again, and I (and a LOT of Americans) don't want to go through it again either. It's over, deal with it.
