Pure rock opera...but songs a half hour long in 5 movements don't get much airtime. 
This was the 20th Anniversary Tour which would have been about 2004 or 2005. Saw them at the Warfield. Their drummer then was Mike Portnoy who wrote a lot of their lyrics.
