If you pointed to impartial statistics demonstrating that Democrat policies increase poverty and harm minorities and working-class Americans of every race, they would blame someone else.

The more knowledgeable liberals recognize their high-minded goals require sacrifices — African-Americans, low-income w****s and Latinos. The less knowledgeable just regurgitate the party’s propaganda that it’s “Trump’s fault,” “George W. Bush’s fault” and the “GOP’s fault.”

But phony finger-pointing does not enjoy the v**er traction it did just a few years ago. Since President Donald Trump and the GOP passed the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act, nixed Obama-era overregulation and drew a line in the sand with thieving China, the quality of life for low-income Americans has dramatically improved. If there’s a single reason why Democrats h**e the president, it’s because he proved without a doubt that their policies are anti-worker, anti-minority, and anti-poor.

African-American unemployment remains at the lowest in the nation’s history. Latino-Americans are the fastest growing home-buying demographic, wages are rising, and America has more available jobs than people to fill them. Hard to imagine, but a billionaire reality TV star with lavish hotels and resorts is the first president to do right by the lowest income Americans.

Facts are a problem for Democrats running in 2020. Democrats are hoping Creepy Joe Biden can infuse the left with the same enthusiasm as their standard bearer, Obama. But facts about their eight debilitating years may be a problem. When compared to President Trump’s record-setting economic positives, Obama managed to set a record of his own — the worst poverty in more than 50 years.

During the Obama Administration, the poverty rate stood at 15 percent or higher for three straight years. Approximately 50 million Americans suffered below the poverty line and Obama’s policies did zero to curb their long-term pain. Instead of addressing the foundations of economic development and job creation, Obama pushed dependence on the government over self-sufficiency.

“(Obama’s efforts) are basically to give more people more free stuff,” Heritage Foundation poverty specialist Robert Rector said. “That’s exactly the opposite of what (Pres.) Johnson said. Johnson’s goal was to make people prosperous and self-sufficient.”

Along with handing out free cell phones and trinkets, the Obama Administration attacked the minimum wage as a symbolic, although flawed, way of making low-income Americans believe something was being done. Today, the facts are that cities who have increased the minimum wage to $15 without a viable economic foundation saw people lose jobs and earn less. Businesses must be profitable enough to support increased wages.

The U.S. Census Bureau reported from 2009 to 2011, at least 31.6 percent of Americans fell below the poverty line for two or more months. And although the Obama Administration touted 12.6 million people getting their finances above the poverty line, 13.5 fell below it. Keep in mind that while Obama spoke about helping poor Americans out one side of his mouth, he inflicted harsh and expensive regulations on businesses.

Like the current class of Democrats, Biden included, their policies are anti-business — making them anti-worker. For example, the Green New Deal would upend the economy while adding $92 trillion in national debt. Of course, Democrats already knew this because not a single one of them v**ed for the policy when Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell brought it to a v**e.

In terms of overall Democrat policies, Forbes published an analytic assessment in 2014 that highlighted how left-leaning initiatives negatively impact low-income Americans. C*****e c****e policies consistently place the highest burden on working Americans. Democrats still target industries such as oil to level high taxes. Those costs are passed along to consumers at the pump and cause heating oil to rise. For people struggling to support a family, these Democrat policies are particularly costly. Such policies have not shifted in any positive fashion during the last five years.

Although perhaps well-intentioned, policies to stem the tide of pollution have cost Americans millions of good-paying jobs. Democrats target the manufacturing sector in the U.S. who are then forced to make products inexpensively in China. After sending our good-paying manufacturing jobs to other countries, Obama and Democrats touted growth in the low-paying service sector. Working Americans got poorer.

During the early days of Democrats campaigning in the p**********l primary, Americans hear consistent messaging about attacking big businesses, saving the world from c*****e c****e, and opening the borders for South American immigrants to flow in freely. All those things hurt lower-income Americans.

Democrats have to keep some "investigaton" going to try to divert the news and the public away from all the good economic news. They also have to keep feeding the MSM something to keep up their h**e Trump tirades. Democrats have no agenda so it has run a campaign of attacking Trump.

They also keep it going because they know it’s about to come their way. As it should have been from the beginning.

Trump’s Numbers, April 2019 Update
Statistical measures of how things have changed since the president took office.

By Brooks Jackson

Posted on April 11, 2019

Trump’s GDP Spin
The White House website proclaimed: “Economic Growth Has Reached 3 Percent for the First Time in More than a Decade.” But that’s not true.

As we’ve said, growth fell just short of 3 percent when measured by the usual economic yardstick. And even using Trump’s measure, it grew faster than 3 percent less than four years ago.

The White House Council of Economic Advisers issued a carefully worded explanation that growth was 3.1 percent (later revised down to 3.0 percent) — if measured by comparing the final three months of 2018 with the same quarter a year earlier. That’s correct, as far as it goes. And it is also the first time since 2005 that this final-quarter to final-quarter measure was 3 percent or better, as far as that goes.

But year-to-year economic growth is normally measured by comparing the GDP for all of 2018 with the GDP for all of 2017. That change was 2.9 percent, as we have said, and was just equal to the growth in 2015, only three years earlier.

Furthermore, the White House claim that growth was the best in 13 years rests on cherry-picking only the final quarters of each year from BEA’s Table 1.1.11, which gives the 12-month change in real GDP ending in each quarter. And by that measure the economy grew faster — 3.4 percent — as recently as the 12 months ending in the second quarter of 2015, just three-and-a-half years earlier.

My stock broker just told me we heading into a recession I knew trump would do but I'm amazed just how fast he did it. I think his airline lasted a bit longer before he bankrupted it.

I sure do. I also know who wants to raise taxes, who wants to have big government giveaway programs, who gives out food stamps as if they are going out of style, who doesn’t give a damn about the open borders in this country,, and I also know what party now in power who has the best employment, the least unemployment, the best growth in the GNP in years, and who really has the country on the upswing. I really don’t think you are aware of anything that is happening that is right for America. Like most liberals, you are only aware of your own self interests. If you would study the history of social security, you would see what party raped the system, and it wasn’t the Republicans. I was on both sides of the union issue, and I believe they are necessary, but I don’t believe they belong in any sector that salary is paid by taxes. Whether you want to believe it or not, the president who insisted S.S., FDR, was of the same mind. Unions are great but when they become self serving, and don’t give a damn about their members, they should be outlawed. You had better check wh**everunion you belong to and see it’s pirpose. It is not always what it seems.
