C*****e c****e is, I think, recognized among rural communities. The argument is, of course, is it man-made? Another problem that will have to be addressed, at some point, is the rate of productive acres being lost to urban sprawl. If I recall correctly, 6% of the earths serface is suitable for food production, with 10% of that 6% being in the US.

I agree that the farm program is an example of how socialism works. However, there isn't much these days that don't have a touch of government involved.
