You know about as much about economics as you do everything else. Nothing. Labor costs are the biggest Cost to employers generally. So guys like you who are against tariffs because they make consumer goods more expensive, are ok with consumer goods going up because you are telling an employer to raise his minimum wage whether he can afford it or not. Should have asked, what’s next?
To Kevie, I started out at 8 cutting grass, my Dad made me buy the .28 gas. At 11 I was doing that and getting up at 4:30 am to be at a row boathouse working for tips carrying gear up to 20 HP motors for fishermen. At the same time, around 10:00 am I was busing tables and mopping the floors at a grill bar in front of the boat house. At 12 I was doing the same and took over a 400 person paper route. I've worked at many jobs since so you will I hope realize why I don't have much sympathy for those who won't try to help themselves. My Mother and my wife get angry with me because I'm a soft touch and will give the shirt off of my back to those in true need.
If you want to give your money away, go ahead but don't even come close to trying to take mine. I'll k**l you. Mike
