Maybe some of us are just more sensitive than others. Plus, I realized a long time ago that just reading the printed word with no tone of voice, facial expression, or body language makes it hard to discern the difference.
What some consider insults, others consider joshing around, of which, I'm a fan. I can tell when I'm being truly, and maliciously insulted, and I just let it go. Few here have done me that way, so the rest is nothing more than back, and forth to me.
That's my take on it. And yes, if I ever run across PeterS, I will kick his walker out from under him.

You are absolutely right. Thing is, the politicians, special interest groups, and courts have bastardized the Constitution to the point of no return in my opinion.

You're right, joshing around is fine and the difference is that one is light and funny, the other is dark and intentionally offensive. People here allow themselves to be nasty because they hide behind their anonymity, I find that not only rude but also cowardly, whether fro man or woman. I've refrained trying not to get caught up into the responsive gorilla mudslinging, but when some constantly go out of their way to do so, then other actions have to be taken and there are not many choices.

It isn't acceptance, it's reality. Denying it, and running around with my hair on fire, screaming at the sky won't change it. It's just.....life.

You're willing to put up with crap that I won't, and vice versa.

I can't change Washington politics anymore than I can control the weather. I'm realistic enough to know that. Locally, I can make a difference, and feel that I have, so it ain't worth getting upset about.

And, I don't understand what you're talking about with the courts. They have been given power way outside of their Constitutional limitations as it is in my opinion. There is abuse of power everywhere. Our country is at war with each other now. Just not a shooting war. Yet. Sad.

But, I choose to be a happy smartass, and enjoy my blessed life. I have it good, and I know, and appreciate it. I can't change the world, I can only live in it, and be the best I can be, and that's what I do.

Simmer down lady, and enjoy yourself a good dog fart now, and then as I'm doing now!
