Now, if he travels to a place that he does not own, or if the Secret Service maintains a permanent detail at his residence (as they did for Clinton, Bush & Obama), yes, there may be some rent involved. Joe Biden charged the Secret Service something like $11,000 per month to rent a tiny building on his property, for use as the permanent detail’s command center onsite...

Does the Mar-a-Lago charge the U.S. government for the expenses of visits of and meetings between heads of state and Trump? How soon we forget…. I guess you do not remember when Michelle Obama took separate planes on her two million dollar vacation. Donald Trump donates his salary each quarter to various Federal Agencies.
