China stopped buying American agricultural products they can easily buy it somewhere else.just one example China use to buy $25 billion in soybean. Now China is buying there soybean from Brazil. The $16 billion funded to the farmers of soy beans will be recovered shortly. The US has impost a Tariff to China’s exports to the US that will generate approximately $260 billion. The purpose of Tariff is to balance trade with China. China has abused US for years during the Obama administration. WE lost annually $580 billion due to Chinese goods freely coming to the US, while our exports to them are limited.
President Trump will correct that.

Tariff will reduce our imports from China and at the same time will generate revenue due to the duties impost on the merchandise they sell to the US. The benefits of Tariff override the cost that we lost due to the soy beans of farmers that China would like to abandon.

Markets of soybeans however are being targeted from various parts of Asia, like Japan, Korea, Taiwan, the Philippines. These will expand market buyers for soy beans. The $16, billion paid to farmers will allow them to maintain their crops and business. That is how capitalism works. You spend, but work/expand to gain more.
