Exactly. You guys like to bring up Donald Trump's bankruptcies as signs of his lack of abilities as a businessman and a leader of men and women. To be a property developer is to take large risks. Especially in the Democratic People's Republic of New York. The banks always were eager to give him money for the next deal, even after he went bankrupt. They knew that when things went good they would make a lot of money. Trump always came back from his failures.

Contrast this with Obama. Obama never went bankrupt, good for him. But then he never did anything in business. Never built anything. Never created value for investors. Never met a payroll. Never paid business taxes. Never had to deal with stupid government regulations and still make a profit.

The difference in their experiences showed in their Presidencies. Obama was the King of crappy part time work. Trump is the King of full time employment. Obama's Marxist theories from Harvard, verses Trump's real world practical experience.

I looked at the first 5 or 6 replies to your post. Obviously they are not bothering to make a thoughtful reply. (I wonder what kind of response you could have been expecting ...)

The usual more thoughtful response I've seen elsewhere is that Trump has "good" policies. I disagree that the policies are good. I think Trump's policies aren't particularly good, and that some of them are bad. But one ardent Trump supporter keeps saying he supports Trump because of his policies.

I don't support Trump. Well, I do pay taxes which does support him a little, but I don't support him any more than I have to, and I think he's a bad president.

I think I can guess why a lot of the Trump supporters are supporting him. It's because he makes them feel good. He says the kinds of things that they want to say. He does the kinds of things that they want to do. He validates them. For example, if you're a man, how many times have you wanted to make some sexist remark about women? Some of us restrain ourselves or feel frustrated or even ashamed of our lapses. Trump as president, by his example, gives everyone more permission to be sexist or bigoted or rude. How many times have you wished you could just bomb or shoot people you don't like? Trump, by his example, validates such feelings and even encourages them. Wouldn't you rather be encouraged in your impulses, feel freer about them, feel less guilty, and not have to be so restrained in your behavior?

So, if you long to shoot off your mouth or even provoke whole countries which peeve you, without considering the consequences, then you'd probably feel more comfortable with Trump in office than with almost anyone else in office. He would make you feel better and less frustrated, because you could think: if the President of the United States is that way, it must be okay to be that way. (If you're old enough to remember the popular psychological saying "I'm Okay, You're Okay", then consider this one: "He's Okay, so I'm Okay". If you can just keep thinking that ...)

The difference between Trump and wannabes is that Trump doesn't need supporters to hawk his results. They speak for themselves. And as we all remember president Clinton telling us about the key to winning the presidency, "It's the economy stupid!"
So be it! Trump's economy, as I hear it, is the best in THE WORLD!
I don't need to tell you about the rosy economic numbers across the board, from jobs created, to #s of regulations slashed, to increases in wages, to # of manufacturing jobs increased, to consumer confidence, to record low number of people unemployed especially in traditionally hard-hit minority populations.
Trump's results are why people challenging him steer sharply away from economic successes.
Instead they'll talk about why he's not making his tax returns available for inspection for the last 10 years. Or other similar nonsense. That right thinking people don't care about.
Wait a minute! Didn't William Clinton tell us, "It's the economy stupid!"
Oh, that was before Trump showed us how to create a red hot economy.

I think you might have missed another lie told by Obama, although it could be in your comprehensive list.
"My administration didn't have a smidgen of corruption." We all know now that was the biggest whopper ever told as it's becoming clear he operated far worse than a 3rd world banana dictator, by weaponizing the entire intelligence community including the DOJ, FBI, CIA, etc., against his enemies including Trump.

As an aside, when Olympic downhill skiing champion Lindsey Vonn tore the anterior cruciate
