If it is left to Pelosi, then no. I have been listening to her, as painful as it is to take time to have her stumble through, it seems unlikely that it will happen. I am trying to figure out why she is opposed..... perhaps she knows that she will not have the support once it reaches the Senate? Would this then guarantee President Trump's ree******n? And if they do not impeach, with his popularity going up, will he win anyway?

"House Democratic leaders sparred internally on Monday over whether to begin an impeachment inquiry against President Donald Trump, with Speaker Nancy Pelosi and her allies rejecting the call to move forward for now, according to multiple sources.

Reps. David Cicilline (D-R.I.), Jamie Raskin (D-Md.), and Joe Neguse (D-Colo.) — all members of the Democratic leadership — pushed to begin impeachment proceedings during a leadership meeting in Pelosi's office, said the sources. Pelosi and Reps. Rosa DeLauro (D-Conn.), Ben Ray Lujan (D-N.M.), Hakeem Jeffries (D-N.Y.) and Cheri Bustos (D-Ill.) — some of her key allies — rejected their calls, saying Democrats' message is being drowned out by the fight over possibly impeaching Trump.

Raskin — a former law professor — said he wasn't advocating impeaching Trump but suggested that opening an impeachment inquiry would strengthen their legal position while allowing Democrats to move forward with their legislative agenda."

I've not paid much attention but a rino has jumped into the impeachment faction. This could swing the agenda. I hope they do, in my opinion it would be the dims not being able to keep the house, the senate or to gain the Presidentsy. Please excuse my spelling. Mike

Mike,

This may be the best solution, if the house v**es to impeach then they will have to shut up and start doing their jobs. Keep in mind that impeachment does not remove him from office. It is embarrassing, but remember Clinton was impeached and went on to win a second term.

Don't worry about your spelling! I am not the spelling police. There is one person I corrected, but that was because said that I could not understand simple English.... So, when he posted with some grievous errors, I could not help myself....

Rachel Maddow made the same argument tonight--that an impeachment inquiry would strengthen the Democrats position and could help end the stonewalling by the president.

I think Pelosi's political instincts are telling her that the Democratic Party is in enough trouble as it is over the unending pursuit of President Trump along with the Omar Anti-Semitism Consortium®, the AOC Experience© and other party anomalies without adding a pointless and counterproductive impeachment to everything else, and then there's the Barr/ Jordan/ IG set of investigations with still more grief promised for Pelosi's party...

There's no way she cold be feeling all that carefree or anywhere near as bold as she did prior to the conclusion of the Mueller "probe "

Why impeach the GOP holds the Senate You only impeach if you have a snowballs chance to win. However if the Dems win the Senate and Trump somehow wins ree******n then it's anyone's guess. lol Personally I believe that Biden will win and end this chapter in American History

They can’t find any other way to keep him from being re-elected! They have tried everything so far! They have no grounds and the American people that elected him would be ready to come out and fight! He has a large invisible backing!

Even with his famed "hands-on" approach Biden would be so tepid he would make Jimmy Carter look like a dynamo.

That's Americans. GOP Americans.

You ought to try it on for size, it might make you at least seem like you know what it means to be one.

She's working herself into a stroke as it is trying to keep her fragmenting party together.
