The Easiest Way to Debunk the G****r Pay Gap Myth

One of the most popular talking points of third-wave feminism is the g****r pay gap – the idea that women, on average, are paid less than men for working the same jobs due to sexism. For every dollar that a man earns, the g****r pay gap narrative says that women earn around eighty cents – though the exact figure tends to vary.
There is some t***h in these statistics, though there is extreme dishonesty in the way that they are used. Taking no other factors into consideration, women in the United States do, on average, earn less than men. However, when you compare men and women who work similar jobs and similar hours, this pay gap disappears. In other words, women who work the same hours and the same jobs as their male colleagues are paid the same as well.
The reason why, then, that women still tend to earn less than men as a whole has nothing to do with sexism and everything to do with personal choice. Even in 2019, more women choose to become homemakers than men, fewer women choose to pursue dangerous but high-paying manual labor jobs, and fewer women choose to pursue careers in STEM. On average, women also tend to take more time off than men, tend to be more risk-averse, and tend to be less competitive when pursuing things such as raises and promotions.

I am waiting for the pay gap figures on male to female and female to male t***sexuals, and the hll that the left will push if a company is not wanting to pay for elective surgery for "s*x c****e" procedures and the life long care and expenses involved.

That will be an interesting article for sure. They may already have some figures from California if you looked it up.

If a woman's base salary - her hourly/daily/weekly pay - is less than a man's for the same job, that needs to be addressed, and the woman needs to be paid the same rate... That is the bottom line... Any other reasoning introduces claims that are skewed to prove discrimination where it does not truly exist...

for exactly the same job (not a "similiar" job) and exactly the same number of hours, yes, the pay should be the same, and that is, at this point in time, the norm if a company wishes to stay in business.
